  14. ~~~~Was out for another sites' M&G on Saturday, and first off wanna thank the Dok Dok team who came from London, for picking me up and giving me a ride up and back, also Aaron of Canadian Trophy Phishen for transporting us. Weather was great, with lots of ice, my electric augar got a lot of work out with the Perchen crowd poppen holes, every where. Got settled down huts up and we were phishen, believe MoJo was the first to land one, but he didn't show it so we had to take his word for it(and fairy tale will come true), then as I was getting my second rod set with a drop sinker and 3 hooks, my first rod has a hit and I landed a large Jumbo, great I thought that will be it for me, throw the first Perch on the ice and land not another all day, and it seemed like that was going to happen. But no about another hour or so later, I was able to put another Perch, on ice. Also caught 1 Herring after a quick pic a wat it went. Had lots of action on the Phishes Showie thingabobber had bait as high as 4' off the bottom and seen phish come up and go back down, seemed no matter what I had down there they just wanted to look at it. Got to a point I heard Dok call out "Hey OP are you awake in there?" and I answered "I am Now' and realized I just had a 2 hour nap, and when I checked my lure I found my minnow was replaced with a Zebra Mussel. and so ended my day, Also like the Member who gave me a ride back in.

  19. ~~~ 'Twas the Night Before Christmas It was about time for Christmas, and all through the house A creature was stirring, but it wasn't a mouse I knew right away it was my wife's little pup, She thought we were sleeping, and so she was up. The dog was a gift it was coercion, really, A woman can pout, 'til a man gets downright silly. And now the wife was snoozing she was really sacked out She wouldn't have awoke from less than a shout. Yes, her in her nightgown, I in my BVDs, We had finally settled down to catch some Zs When off in the kitchen there arose such a clatter, I rolled from the bed to see what was the matter. Away down the hall, my head in a muddle, I reached the kitchen...and stepped in a puddle. The glow from a nightlight illuminated the room, So how come I stumbled over the broom? I fell in a sprawl, my legs were not stable. On the way down, my nose hit the table. My head was a spinnin' and when I came to rest Four miniature dog feet stood on my chest. With a lick and a bark, she bounded away, Into the living room, she ran to play. More rapid than mouses, that rat terrier ran, Me on the follow, rolled newspaper in hand. "Stop, Skeeter! Stop, Dog! Stop, Pup! Halt, Pooch! Halt, Girl! Oh, come'ere, you mutt! "Get off the new couch! Now let go of that curtain! Ohhh...If I ever catch you, you're gonna' be hurtin'" As winds of a Texas tornado do fly, She spun round the room, down low and up high. Then up on the countertop, that puppy went She stopped for a second. I thought she was spent. I make a quick lunge, she ducked me and then Yawned when I dove through the flour bin. As I drew out my head and was turning around, She made for the presents, in a single bound. I was covered with flour, from my head to my toes, My robe in tatters, and blood on my nose. A bag full of toys, she grabbed with glee I nabbed her, I thought, but instead got the tree. The ornaments, they broke, as they began to fall The lights, how they fizzled, and that is not all. When I reached for the plug, to turn the bulbs out, What flowed through my body, but electricity, so stout! As smoke encircled my head like a wreath, That dog held my big toe, tight in her teeth. "Skeeter," I moaned, "I give up. Oh, Skeet, I give in." So she bit my swollen nose, and nipped at my chin. She spoke not a word, but went back to work, Down came the stockings it took just a jerk. Then up from the hall, came the sound of feet, Momma, it seemed was awake from her sleep. "Now you'll get it pup," I announced with glee. Then Skeeter walked over and put her little head on my knee. She looked up at my wife - so innocent - and at me, so, so sad. And it didn't take long, to know I'd been had. Then came the wife's voice, so strong and so clear, "Bill, you leave that puppy alone! You hear!" And I exclaimed to myself, as they walked out with a strut, "Don't leave any gifts, Santa just PICK UP THE MUTT!"

  21. ~~~~What's that you say all you want for Christmas, is your 2 front teeth, that will be $2000
  22. ~~~PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Add seven swans, six geese and five golden rings to the list of Christmas gifts that cost more than they did a year ago. And if you get all 364 items repeated throughout "The Twelve Days of Christmas" carol, you'll pay 6.1 per cent more this year, according to the annual Christmas Price Index compiled by PNC Wealth Management. That comes to $107,300. "The rise is larger than expected considering the modest economic growth we've had," said Jim Dunigan, managing executive of investments for PNC. He noted the government's Consumer Price Index has risen just 2 per cent in the United States in the 12 months before September. Thrifty shoppers may find some reasons for cheer. Six items mentioned in the song haven't gone up in price: maids-a-milking, ladies dancing, lords-a-leaping, calling birds, turtle doves and the partridge. The eight maids-a-milking still cost just $58 because the minimum wage hasn't risen. Twelve drummers drumming ($2,775.50) and eleven pipers piping ($2,562) might also be considered relative bargains compared to seven swans, which will set you back $7,000. Nine ladies dancing will cost you $6,294.03. Dunigan said the 2011 drought caused the prices of some birds to soar, partly because of corn and other feed costs. "The geese were up 29.6 per cent, and swans were up 11 per cent," Dunigan said, adding that none of the gifts in the song went down in price this year. The price of a pear tree is $189.99, an 11.8 per cent jump from last year's $169.99. Five gold rings jumped 16.3 per cent this year, to $750, and three French hens are now $165, instead of $150. The $15 partridge is the cheapest item, and swans the most expensive, at $1,000 each. Last-minute shoppers who turn to the Internet will pay a bit more for the gifts. Buying one set of the core items in each verse costs $24,431 in traditional stores this year, but $40,440 online. Part of that difference is the extra expense of shipping live birds, Dunigan said, adding that Internet costs rose 1.5 per cent compared to last year. PNC Financial Services Group Inc. checks jewelry stores, dance companies, pet stores and other sources to compile the list. Some of its sources this year include the National Aviary in Pittsburgh and the Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Ballet Company.
