Yep...CC taught me what I know about Steelheading. It's not an easy craft to get good at, but he's a great teacher! I caught my first fish without him just a week or so ago. Hope you took notes!

Now that I think of it, I'm the same way...never say Rapala....I'll say shad rap too.

I just hang the camera around my neck and leave it inside my coat so it stays nice and warm...haven't had an accident as of yet.

Bly and I rarely use minnows...truth be known, we have never caught anything with them! We could be fishing with 6 other ppl, all using minnows fishing for small walleye...others are catching them and not even a sniff for us. We also used them ice fishing.....again nada!! We are minnow inept I think...or we have the vocal ones...telling the bigger fish to stay away...haha. We do well catching walleye with artificials...mostly crankbaits, so we'll continue to use those I think.

Scott....sounds like a rough day out there. At least he got to see the master at work! Wow...I know how happy the wife was after the last camera....you gonna tell her about this one?? LOL. Congrats on the 15 pounder!! Would have been nice to see a pic....j/k. haha. They're talking rain maybe Wed and Thursday...hoping the waters are fishable by Saturday!!!

Wow! 5000!! Awesome work Maureen! It's nice to hear thanks from the family...we had a great time out there that day even though we didn't catch anything. It was my 4 yr old daughter's first time ice fishing and she had a blast as well.

Sounded like an exciting day! Gotta love the adrenaline rush when the float goes under. Looking forward the pics!

Some people asked me why I didn't try to persue music as my career, but as Terry mentioned, I didn't want music to EVER become my job. I enjoy playing music a lot, and it used to be my number one hobby...until fishing came along...LOL. I still have a band, but making it in the music industry isn't just going up on stage and playing...I'm sure working in the fishing industry is the same in some regards. That being said...it's nice to think about fishing for a living that's for sure!!!
