  1. Great...now everyone knows...jeez. She's not allowed to go fishing with you again...LOL. She said she had a great time out there with you and little C. She's pretty happy that skunk if off her back...she hadn't caught anything since December! Things should be less tense around our house again....haha.
  2. I've had lots of friends with Hondas and with regular maintenance they'll run forever! As mentioned everywhere else, they are a top rated car. I have a Honda CRV (1998) with well over 250,000kms on it and it's been awesome. The salesman said that the engine in it is basically the civic engine. We've had to replace belts and of course regular oil changes, but it's been very reliable. I went in to have my brakes looked at at around 130,000 kms....not because I was having problems, but because of the mileage. The guy said that they were fine....85% front, 90% rear. Now that I think of it, I haven't replaced ANY of the exhaust system either...original pipes and muffler on that thing.
  3. Well, the day's not over yet....with her you just never know!!!
  4. Just got a phone call from Bly...she said that by 730ish, a few fish had already been caught..... Here I am at the office...hmmmm...something is wrong here.... LOL
  5. Wow Scott!!! 2 days in a row...hope you saved some for tomorrow morning!!! LOL. Looking forward to your report with LOTS of pics!
  6. It could if you brought a step stool.
  7. Once again....awesome report! I always feel like I'm right there with you on these trips. The quality of the pics doesn't take away from it at all IMO. Cant wait for your next one!
  8. Oops! Sorry
  9. He eventually came into chat last night and said that all was well. He figured he'd get more people in there if he posted what he did. No need to worry, he was doing fine last night....
  10. I know what you meant Stan...just playin around with you a bit...
  11. Gee thanks Stan....I know my band isn't professional...but jeez.....we were not a real suggestion???? LOL. Not sure if your crowd is the Green Day, Radiohead and Foo Fighters crowd anyways....
  12. Bly and I attempt to release all our walleye. We caught 18 that were 8+ pounds this past fall...with lots over 12 pounds and the biggest was bly's 15 pound one. We have that 15 poudner in the freezer...after she tried to release it for over half an hour. I would never eat one that big anyways!!
  13. You ok roy?? I'm there now....
  14. Great report! The detail was great...and the pics added to the story. Thanks for taking the time...it must take you forever to prepare these...but you do it for the benefit of us!
  15. I dont blame you one bit Scott!! My hands are still cold and I've been at the office for 1/2 hour already!!! Plus, something tells me slush and ice may be a problem on the tribs today. That being said, it wouldn't surprise me to see a report later today....LOL.
  16. I hear you Lew! -35C with the wind chill.....BRRRRRR. The only good thing about that cold Feb is that many overwintering mosquitoes were killed off!!! I know small consolation now, but we'll probably appreciate it more in the summer.
  17. I'd love to hook into a nice sized ski! Maybe this year...ahh....warm weather....cant wait to get out there now!!!
  18. If anything, my wife is more of a fanatic than I am!!! Anyhow, I am lucky...fishing is either family time or just "our" time together. There's nothing more I'd rather do than spend the day fishing with them.
  19. LOL...I know that the two week forecasts are never right...but I can hope right??? And Snag...ummm...if I'm wrong, I guess I'll need a new screen name for here...haha.
  20. Ok...it's going to be CCCCCOOOOLD for the next few days...but this is the two week look at the weather for Toronto.... Let's hope they are right!!!!!!!!!!! It's practically shorts and t-shirt weather!!! LOL.
  21. Nice going Scott!! Now, let's see how tough you are....are you going out tomorrow morning??? It's only going to be -35C with the wind chill....LOL. Awesome stuff bro...with I had more time to fish!
  22. Thread disappear??? Nah... I've been singing for years...taken music since I was 6 years old...I play the piano, guitar, bass, trumpet and drums and I have heard 100s if not 1000s of people sing. I've played in concert bands, jazz bands, stage bands and rock bands. I've taught piano and guitar as well. Let me say that you do have a very nice voice! Nothing to be ashamed of at all. Not everyone can carry a tune as well as you can....now....from what I can tell, it's confidence that you lack! So...dont be putting your voice down because your confidence is low....
