Try cleaning the cables/connectors and battery terminals, make sure all connections are tight. Check water levels, should be just below the neck of each vent hole. Make sure you use face protection. Boiling is usually caused by over charging or a slight short, I have a feeling you need a new battery.

Recommendation on sunglasses that truely polarized & 100% UV?
NANUK replied to okumasheffield's topic in General Discussion
You will probably get reasonable UV protection with a $20 sunglasses, But it is also good vision / clarity you need if you are wearing them all day, good quality lenses are very important IMO, you get what you pay for. I get headaches from cheap sun glasses, -
You are correct, That price is for the Stradic CI4+ My mistake

Lebaron regular price $239.60 They are having no tax sale this week on all regular price fishing & camping stuff

You get what you pay for, Sunbrella and top gun are 2 of the best meterials out there, I had a custom Top Gun cover made for my Fish Hawk 10 years ago, fits tight like a glove and doesn't flop around on the highway,( that's what destroys them ) Still looks good and not a stitch has come apart. A very good investment IMO

Charging a starting and deep cycle battery at the same time?
NANUK replied to davey buoy's topic in General Discussion
Charging both batteries (as long as they are hooked up parallel) with Alternator will probably not harm anything, but it is not much different than charging them both at home with one charger, both batteries are probably different size and age/condition, I would let the main motor charge my cranking battery and charge my deep cycle at home with a god automatic charger. A properly working automatic charger should never "boil" or over charge the battery, even if you hook it up to a 100% fully charged battery, that is why an automatic/smart charger is supposed to be left hooked up to the bettery during off season. -
Charging a starting and deep cycle battery at the same time?
NANUK replied to davey buoy's topic in General Discussion
With a 12 volt charger, You could charge 2 batteries if they are hooked up in parallel ( 12 volts ) However, it may take a long time to charge both batteries at the same time depending on the charging rate, Ideally you want to charge your deep cycle battery rapidly to about 85% and then drop it to a trickle charge. IMO it is best to charge them individually because usually a deep cycle and a cranking battery are not same size & capacity. -
Canoe man loop knot, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfHU6Dr9dKM My favorite and best knot for heavy leaders, very solid, the tag end faces backward and doesn't catch weeds. OR you can just use crimping sleeves, but use proper crimping tool and the proper method to crimp.

Weight is really not an issue for me, I am not on a big lot, 10 minutes and I am done trimming, I currantly own 2 Honda vehicles, a lawnmower, snowblower and a generator, I am sold on Honda reliability and ease of starting. Always done my research before purchase, Like anything else, proper maintenance is the key. But like I said, I own a Stihl grass trimmer, and I do like it, it will probably outlast me if I don't get tired of mixing oil and decide to sell.
-
I have a Stihl and I am very happy with it, My next one will be a Honda, 4 stk no mixing oil,

I broke 3 Fenwicks in the past ( my fault ) All 3 times I had to pay shipping to Manitoba and send a $20 check for return shipping. Still a good deal IMO

Very nice rods and a great company to deal with. They are not as high end as NRX because they don't have all those problems like NRX have.

If you have two 12 volt (automatic) chargers, Preferably set at the same charging rate. There is no need to disconnect any wires or jumpers, simply connect a charger to each battery and charge them like you would charge those batteries individually.

Actually all his hard working, money saving and stopping the gravey train claims have been debunked one by one, Almost every one on his ( and Dough's ) speeches start or end with ". Saving taxpayer's money " Makes you wonder why some people can't see right through both brothers. I feel sorry for his kids and a little for his wife But his brother, sister and mother no so much, they know the guys well, but did nothing to help him. Worst one is Dough,

Tracker Tundra - Legal Advice is Appreciated

Sorry for your incident and glad all aboard got out ok, Floatation foam is only good when dry, not much good if it was already partially water logged, not saying that was the case. -
Hard to say without looking at the rigger, all depends on the model, on most models you can add a counter Can you get some pictures ? specially from the top, between the handle and pully,

Take the Yamaha part # to your local Part source, ask them to cross refrence it to a WIX filter, ( I wouldn't use Fram ) If you have Collins auto parts nearby, they carry that as well.
