Clean with vinegar & water solution, then give it a good treatment of auto or marine wax to protect against UV and hard water spots.

FYI, I just checked Costco LED bulbs, they are made by Sunbeam and ANS/UL and CSA certified and energy star rated, 3 for $20 is a pretty good price IMO.

Electonic board in the opener can be finicky, Plugging it in a good surge protector might help, you can try calling the menufecturer, they might have a fix for that issue.

I had a close look @ Frabil suite, Cabelas Guide wear and BPS 100Mph were much better quality and workman ship IMO

I use Timken Premium all purpose grease. Any good quality/brand all purpose or wheel bearing grease will work, but don't use high temprature grease.

10 years with Bearing Buddies, no problems what so ever. The key is to understand how they work and maintain the correct grease "pressure". and NOT over grease them.

Are you turning it without the rotor? most reels will feel "grinding" without rotor attached.

X2 Some of my fishing reels are 15+ year old and they work just as good if not better than when they were new, It sure pays to learn and do your own reel maintenance, it also gives me something to do in the winter. I just ordered a whole bunch of carbontex drag washers for some of my reels.

The winter kill on baitfish population will be quite big this year IMO
