how many did mark lose and how many did you lose. also you were up by my house and didn't stop in. -
you'll get used to it (maybe) but the foot needs to stay on the cable steer.

these are a PITA. i'm struggling with mine too. gonna try it again this wknd. largest slot screwdriver i've been able to find has a 3/8" wide head but I think 1/2" would work even better. almost need one of them old school drag link sockets. the impact driver would work but i've not been able to find a bit with a wide enough head.. and i don't want to mess up the screw in there using a too-small head.

maybe just me but boston looked like a tired bunch. maybe the physical play of the leafs has wore them down over the course of the series. i've heard and read that many teams did not want to face toronto for that reason -- their physical play. stuff like that may not be apparent in the regular season but over a long 7 gamer, it takes it's toll. i guess we'll see tonight!!

as danbob said, the new this year, elite 7 looks like the best bang for the buck out right now. really great sounding unit (on paper). if i were to replace my 'regular' elite5 / gps that is where i'd go.

That is impressive is it 4x4?

I am replacing my cranking battery. This battery serves two purposes, it starts my motor (40hp) and also runs the rear graph, bilge and nav lights. I have a separate deep cycle (that's tired as well) for the trolling motor (55pd 12v) and graph up front. Should I be looking at a marine cranking battery, a combo cranking/deep cycle or just deep cycle. A small 24 series deep cycle is what was in there before. For the front, Deep Cycle only. 27 or 31 series? I am guessing the difference is how much reserve power I have.

Conowingo Dam..brings back memories. Always wondered what swam above and below the dam. I crossed it many times and spent some time around there and PA State Park when I was working down in Edgewood/Bel Air, MD. Nice part of the world as you head up from there to PA.

are you concerned it is twisted? if so, let it all out with nothing attached to it and troll it for 5-10 mins. retrieve it under tension and it will be twist free. otherwise, i'm not sure i understand why you are concerned.

Correct -- let's try this again. These were approx 1 year ago and with the recent rate hike, add another ~10% to the TOU prices. ie. I think we're up to 7 cents off-peak, 10 cents mid and over 12 on-peak so with the additional per kwh Bull charges, we're up to about 13 off, 16 mid, and 18 on-peak.
-
Here's a quote from that post. TOU prices have gone up since then.
-
in addition to the TOU per kwh rates, you are also dinged a per kwh charge for things such as a portion of the delivery, debt repayment, etc. the sum of these charges is approximately 6 cents / kwh. so, if your rate is 11 c/kwh, the true cost is 17 c/kwh on top of that are the FIXED fees which you pay just for the privledge of being a hydro customer even if they dont send you a single KW of power. so, the true cost per kwh is higher that the posted TOU rates. i made a post about this topic on here a while back, breaking down your Hydro bill..

it really is amazing the difference 10-20km/hr makes on your fuel bill and each vehicle seems to have a sweet spot in terms of speed vs fuel economy. i get 21mpg on the hwy in my v8 grand cherokee if i keep it under 110 and drive smooth and this is with not-so-fuel-economy-friendly all-terrain tires.
-
...and i'd consider selling the durango and look at something like an explorer or grand cherokee or (gulp) a minivan in addition to the econobox of choice if you need space - durangos are waay thirsty. 13000 can get you a very nice SUV + a 4 banger in the 01-03 range to beat on.
-
sounds like you need two vehicles. i commute 100kms daily and even paying double the insurance for the two i come out ahead with a 2nd econo-box for commuting/grocery runs. the payback for buying the 2nd vehicle with the fuel savings is something like 18-24 months - after that its like it was free. mind you my econo box budget was 2.5k.

its crazy folks out on huron/gbay have no water at their docks / water intake pipes and the inland lakes are overflowing.

i'm not clicking the link. there's no turnover in the spring or, at least its not as pronounced as in the fall. there is a process called stratification as we progress into summer. it's a slow process as jigger described. spring fishing means cold water and for cold water species it means the fish can be anywhere in the water column. factors such as bait fish movements and spring bug hatches will influence where the feeding fish may be and where you should start fishing.

yup, just cause it can, doesnt mean it will. i stream from a NAS to PS3 to TV but it's all wired.

I know Carp fishing / rigs can get quite complex but really, a rig nothing more than this will work: Cast it out, let it sink, tighten the line, set the rod on a stick-tripod and wait. Don't stray too far if you don't want to lose your rod. You can attach a bell to the tip of your rod for a strike alarm.
