  1. Does anyone know how do you post a video? Just interested in case I ever need to. Thanks,
  2. Every back situation is different, so it is a pain in itself just to go through the strategy to diagnose the issue. I have suffered for about 25 years with one surgery on my lower back thrown in there back in the 90's. I always went to the doctor and they would send me for x-rays and then tell me I had degenerative disks, blah, blah, blah. I was sent to physio and they put me on the rack. That was one of the worst days of my backs life. I later told the physio guy to never do that again. He looked at me funny then ask me to do a couple of strength tests. After those test, he told me he wouldn't work on me anymore and that I should go back to the doctor and ask to have a CAT scan or MRI then a referral to a surgeon. I did that and they found that my sciatic nerve was completed flattened by a ruptured disk that was propbably there for over ten years. There were times I wanted to cut my leg off! The surgery fixed my nerve problem, but not the back problem. I still suffer from facet joint syndrome, take Arthritis Tylenol and go to the Chiro guy every three weeks. Starting to question the chiro, but continue to go. It feels good at the time. Heat is horrible for my back, but ice does wonders. I sometimes find myself laying on the frozen lake to get relief when out ice fishing. Get the proper pictures taken of your back before you get too involved in other stuff.
  3. Yes, I agree! It won't be long before I have nothing left from my weekly pay cheque, which never goes up! I guess I'm lucky that I live on a lake and can paddle out to go fishing once the gas prices go too high or gas is no longer available. Sorry to say it, but playing fishing games takes hydro :-(
  4. Man, those are some nice smallies!
  5. When did fishing get so complicated. Those deep water fish were tough to find before electronics, but I guess that's a whole other argument?
  6. That's one beautiful fish. Nice markings.
  7. Are they in the classifieds Dan? LOL
  8. I love that stuff, you had to tease us!
  9. Bringing in Burke was a mistake then and is still a mistake. Never liked the way the guy ran a team.
  10. As said earlier, I have been a die hard fan as far back as I can remember, falling asleep on the floor during the sixties watching the games in black and white. I do not buy any of their memorabilia or attend games (crazy to pay that kind of money for a couple of hours); I watch them on the TV. I would love to see the place empty and see what results from it, but unfortunately there are way too many people with too much money for that to ever happen. So, we have to blame someone!
  11. Thanks for sharing. Those pictures bring back memories of those that my father had. I'll have to get them back off my sister when I see her next. I also lost my father to cancer a few years back and he seemed to talk more about his war experiences as the end neared. Remembering all the fathers that helped bring us the freedoms we enjoy today is so important, even if one doesn't believe in war!
  12. I hope you're right about them not shutting down. Calling players out in the dressing room is one thing, but in the media is something else. I guess I can understand why players such as Rick Nash, Steven Stamkos or any other star signs in those obscure places that they do. I think Nash could have had it all if he wanted to play in TO, but he chose Columbus of all places to sign a long term contract.
  13. Not expecting them to become stars, just to score some goals. After all, they are getting paid as professionals. I mean really, they are on the ice every day and can't hit the net with an open shot. You don't need to be a super star to compete, just have some heart and maybe some balls. Just very disappointed, especially since the habs fans now have more to give us the gears about.
  14. As A die hard Leaf fan, it's tough to watch. I actually shut the game off after the first period last night, that's new for me. I'm also thinking that they are shutting the coach's rants out of their heads. He just isn't working out in my books. I know he's not out on the ice, but does anyone really want to play for this guy if he calls a player out in the Toronto media?
  15. This thread quickly ruined my day :-(
  16. 6.4 lbs on a wacky rig.
  17. Thanks for the reminder, just went and did it with no fuss. Hate the increase though.
  18. The best thing to do is call your local MNR office and let them know what you saw. It's then up to them to check it out if they have any concerns. Then at least you know you did the right thing.
  19. Did you watch the same game? The Sens were horrible and the Leafs were horrible at getting the puck to the back of the net! The only good thing about the Sens was seeing Carrie Underwood-Fisher in the stands!!!!!!! Go Leafs Go!
  20. I gave it up years ago because of all this crap. I have had friends ask me to join them on their hunts, but I also hear stories from them every year about yahoos, which keeps me thanking them, but declining! I'll stick with fishing. Sorry to hear that it still happens, especially to you BrianB. I just continue to shake my head at people who think what's my is his. I hate to say it, but someone will eventually get shot over stuff like this.
  21. Good to hear that the MNR came through! That was one expensive walleye dinner for that guy.
  22. Done
  23. If I ran my baseboards I would be in the poorhouse and frozen at that. Would love to find a better alternative than wood, but the prices are through the roof for furnaces. I agree with whoever said that everyone wants a cut. I looked into putting in an oil fired hot water taken and running a header from that to supply hot water heat to the rooms. After months of chasing anyone to come out and give a quote, I nearly fell off my chair when they finally gave me a quote and that was just for the hot water tank and installation.
  24. Looks like it ripped off a stringer. Just goes to show that some fish can take a beating and keep on swimming.
  25. Thanks again guys!
