  1. He said he doesn't know why he did it. LOL He will get his ticket and pay it, then do the same thing, just making sure no one sees him next time. That was just too blatant to say he has never done that kind of thing. He won't change; his tone of voice says it all.
  2. Do you still see walleye being weighed in during that tournament?
  3. I've been with the same lady for 34 years and I was being sarcastic about the other gift. LOL However, I was serious about the adventure of finding the fish on my own and using the $450 to buy fishing tackle. One day, three days, a week, I like the challenge and the reward. You will have a blast either way; Nipissing has so much potential.
  4. I personally avoid guides. Not that they aren't great and knowledgeable. I just like the hunt to find them myself. I get far more satisfaction out of figuring them out after putting in the hours. Danny sounds like the guide to go with if you are going in that direction though. I would ask my wife for a different kind of gift. LOL I can do a lot with $450.
  5. I doubt the sens are going anywhere this year.
  6. This is my personal best pike and I forgot to measure it.
  7. Pike.
  8. Every time I see a floating muskie, I have visions of this happening. I can't believe that anglers think that muskie are the reason for a decline in other species. Plain dumb.
  9. Thanks for sharing with us. Tasty looking lakers. I haven't been to the Park in sometime now; kind of miss it.
  10. I'm learning that fast.
  11. All Leaf naysayers should be banned from the site for a month if they make a comment that is obviously coming from another team's fan. Start your own team thread. Orr and McLaren aren't quite gone yet, are they? I keep hearing their names.
  12. I was planning to check out Paudash's sons truck on Saturday morning on my way to a wedding but got behind schedule(my wife, LOL) Texted him to say I couldn't make it and he told me it was sold that morning. I also checked out a vehicle on Friday and it was just sold. I have missed out on a few.
  13. That's the price I'm looking for! LOL
  14. Thanks Fisherman and Ryan and all the rest that have giving input.
  15. No Fish Lake/Bay (one I frequent quite often LOL) No Sayem Lake
  16. Ram, Silverado, F-150, Tundra, Titan, what's a guy to do. I was speaking with a buddy last night that has a ton of experience with vehicles and like someone else said there is good and bad with each one. GM is more expensive to buy but less to repair, F-150 is less expensive to buy but more to repair, Rams eat up brakes, etc. I do like the new Ram with the 8 speed, but again, it involves one of those loans.
  17. Jack from Adventure Fishing maps will send it our the next morning, guaranteed.
  18. Just trying to find something in my budget, so I don't have to borrow money. I might have to change my way of thinking; buy a new truck and a new boat while I'm at it. You only live once; right? LOL I hate being in debt.
  19. I was checked on Pigeon while ice fishing a few years ago. He lives right near Gannons Narrows. Was checked more often back in the 90's. Think the CO back then was Bill Fisher.
  20. WOW, why do we fish for anything else???
  21. Lots of things to think about. I am a bit disillusioned with the prices people are asking. Checked out a 03 Sierra last night. It had been well maintained, mechanically (new transmission, brake work, alternator, etc), the body was another thing. A hole on the cab corner, serious rust under the quarters in the front (not seriously visible by looking but very evident when grabbed with the hand). This truck has 313,000 k on it. Nice guy selling it, but asking $5900. I might as well stick with my 98 Ranger and the same amount of rust.
  22. I'm with you on this Lew. What an arse. These people were doing everything correct in my books and I'm sorry to say the cop probably gave the ticket just because he could. Just wondering: Can PFD's be repaired?
  23. Thanks for all the replies.
  24. Thanks for sharing those photos. It brings back memories of my mother and father. My wife and I tend to stick with Salsa and tomatoes, which we might have enough left over from last year to not have to make any new ones.
  25. Will the insurance company even cover it if the keys were left in the atv? Not sure? It's depressing to read about activities like this, because it only leads to more distance/tension between various groups.
