  1. Do water infraction tickets given to people based on a complaint from another civilian stand up in court? Police did not witness any of the action that lead to the complaint. Just curious. Thanks
  2. Yet, they have no catch and release laws in some European countries. Catch and Kill that's it! Why, because someone determined that it is cruel to torture a fish by catching it, then releasing it to do it all over again. Obviously they thought fish feel pain. At least they didn't ban fishing outright.
  3. They twist your line like crazy. Troll them using a baitcaster.
  4. There is always the strong possibility that they are being taken to sell at a market.
  5. You're a lucky dude! That's equals the number of walleye I have caught since opening down here.
  6. The same old story. All you can do is call the MNR and report. It gets frustrating and is a growing concern.
  7. "The Last Guide" the story about Frank Kuiack (?) of Whitney/Algonquin Park.
  8. Every time I guarantee someone a walleye after I have been slaying them, it backfires. Caught walleye all weekend and brought a buddy out on Sunday night.....nothing! LOL
  9. That drives me crazy outlaw!!!!!! Just plain laziness,. Fish should be cleaned asap and frozen in a way that they will last. Frozen in water if you're planning on keeping it for awhile. I believe that one of the bigger lakes in southern Ontario has this problem in a huge way.
  10. I lost one before and just wired the retainer on until I was able to get a screw.
  11. People will always do what they have to do to survive. I would never blame anyone in that situation. Now some healthy looking guy claiming he was starving while keeping oos fish is another story.
  12. Do you guarantee that Sinker? LOL
  13. Small fines, that's for sure. They will just find another location to fish. I am catching bass everywhere on the lake I live on, so it's hard to avoid them. I would have to switch lakes to avoid bass.
  14. Chris. I fish pigeon and know where the weed beds are when in full growth. Looking for the same depths and bottom consistency is usually a sign that there will be emerging weed.
  15. Nothing will be done about this.
  16. It is expensive, but there is still access to the lake. I would be pissed if they closed all the launch ramps to the lake. Make a choice and live by it. I choose to find another access point.
  17. That video is crazy! He looks like he was having a blast!
  18. Most of my memories are at Pigeon Lake, but for scenery, I would pick the French River Delta.
  19. Great report. It brings back memories from years past. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Sounds like they are meeting their goal to discourage outsiders from using the lake if others feel that's what they are doing.
  21. So much for simplifying the regs, what a mess with all the exceptions.
  22. That's one more day of fishing now Lew.
  23. Brodie's XXX Flour (in most grocery stores) has all you need in it and you just add water. You will find it lighter than beer batter, but crispier.
  24. If Phaneuf stays they have to keep his ice time down to 20 minutes a game. He plays better with reduced minutes. Crazy they sign him to long term contract and now they want to dump him. Sometimes I think the media makes this crap up just so they can talk about the Ontario teams.
  25. Got blown all over the lake, but managed few smaller ones. My buddy caught one about 17-18".
