Every time I guarantee someone a walleye after I have been slaying them, it backfires. Caught walleye all weekend and brought a buddy out on Sunday night.....nothing! LOL
That drives me crazy outlaw!!!!!! Just plain laziness,. Fish should be cleaned asap and frozen in a way that they will last. Frozen in water if you're planning on keeping it for awhile. I believe that one of the bigger lakes in southern Ontario has this problem in a huge way.
People will always do what they have to do to survive. I would never blame anyone in that situation.
Now some healthy looking guy claiming he was starving while keeping oos fish is another story.
Small fines, that's for sure. They will just find another location to fish.
I am catching bass everywhere on the lake I live on, so it's hard to avoid them.
I would have to switch lakes to avoid bass.
Chris. I fish pigeon and know where the weed beds are when in full growth. Looking for the same depths and bottom consistency is usually a sign that there will be emerging weed.
It is expensive, but there is still access to the lake. I would be pissed if they closed all the launch ramps to the lake. Make a choice and live by it. I choose to find another access point.
If Phaneuf stays they have to keep his ice time down to 20 minutes a game. He plays better with reduced minutes. Crazy they sign him to long term contract and now they want to dump him. Sometimes I think the media makes this crap up just so they can talk about the Ontario teams.
I wish politicians would read these threads! Oh, I forgot they are too busy trying to figure out how to get that last buck from us.
I hear you Cliff and it's a crying shame that we have to work past retirement to survive. Guess we should have gotten into politics.
401 to 115 to County Road 10 (Millbrook) go north past Hwy 7 and Emily Park is on the left. If you make your first left past the park it will take you to a bridge that people fish from. You can also continue on County Rd 10 which turns into Yankee line and that will take you to the Causeway on Chemong Lake which gives you more space to fish. Watch the regulations on the causeway if you're planning on fishing there this weekend.
They all sound great. This is the place to ask when you need some answers. Something historical for the area is always cool. A good map of the area/lake on the wall is always nice for visitors.
Hard to pass up on the French maid though.
