  1. YOUR RETINAS!!!!!!! Darned redneck sent me the full sized, full resolution pics via e-mail. I think my monitor suffered burn-in Oh yeah, my avatar.....
  2. I have owned two, a model 30 with a 10 inch bit which I bought some 20 or so years ago, sold that to a bud 5 yrs. ago because we just did not need a 10 inch really, and all it needed was a slight tune-up which I had never ever had done to it. I then bought the Jiffy Lightning 8 inch from CTC, and use and abuse it regularly. I do always drain the gas in the spring, and fog the engine, replace the plug, spray the exterior of the drill with WD-40, and wipe the powerhead with an oil soaked rag, put it in its box that my bud built for me, but thats it. Takes very little time to do that in the spring, about a half hour at best. First ice fishing trip, fill with gas, full choke, pull 3 times at most, and let it warm up on ilde for 1 minute, then drill like crazy. Have heard the blade styles of the strikemaster cut better than the jiffy, but have never actually tried one myself to know for sure.

  4. Thanks for this post. I asked this very same question about 4 yrs. ago to another guy, verbally. Now I know. Give em all to Brian, and don't look back, lol. No, seriously, ask the police to dispose of them.
  5. Welcome, and great report and pictures. Whats wrong with the horizon in the 2nd pic.............I..............think.........Im getting.............sic...............brb.
  6. NO, NO, NO, Art, at this time of year the only body bait to toss out is the CIL Wobbler, lol. And, in the business Glen is in, he should have access to a good supply.
  7. Yup, what ccmtcanada said, as it should be no problem. Have done it at work many, many times. I take a small amp(10 watt) to our board of governors retreat every year, and no problems for media files off of the laptops. Only other problem may be the input you plugged it into on your amp, some have db padding, but not many, usually only the industrial amplifiers/mixers. And they would have potentiometers on the back for adjusting input levels beside each input.
  8. How about drive in douG, Lake Nipigon.
  9. I know that feeling rather well Mo, been through a rough patch for the past 4 months, lol. I might get my life back for a month now that the fall term is done. Then will have to see what the winter term at work offers. But, gotta keep on going, never, ever give up. LOL, Norm, you're evil.
  10. Heh, heh, heh, lets send about a foot down to Glen. He wouldn't be able to find his truck until it melted.
  11. we all think you are crazy Glen, lol.
  12. FHR and I are there, if anyone wants to join. oops, Ric had to bail, but I am still there. Well, Ric had to bail, but if you join, wait. I am doing other things, so wait for my response.
  13. And a nice "honey" also, I like the dainty hold with the manicured and painted nails, Welcome to the hotel OFC, "you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave". Nice introduction and pictures, but the consensus around here is that they are called pickeral, And the self portrait in the mirror is quite good.
  14. I wouldn't know. I don't believe it for a minute!!! But I don't know.
  15. You know, I had completely forgot about the tourney. I had MuskyJohn(jigs) take over the reins for me, but now he does not seem to be around( some kinda dustup happened on the board a month or so ago, I think). I don't have any links to anything now. And with the demise of the gallery where all the previous entries were uploaded, well........................... Maybe try this anew starting in february again.
  16. Nice report Bill, good to see the CO's, with their limited budgets nowadays, enforcing some specific areas.
  17. do a google search fishtheslop
  18. I am there, but if you don't get a response, just wait. There is no audible warning when someone shows up now. Only when you leave, or if you type in my or someone elses username, so give it a bit for everyone to show up and respond. geez, already heard one guy bail, wait for a response!!!!!

  22. Well big guy, we weren't paid all that well, it was "work experience" lol.
  23. Yeah, that low range is fantastic, isn't it Terry. My buds Bruin does not have it, and he spun his way up a steep hill spewing rocks and gravel out the back. I crawled up effortlessly. Last time out, we went into an area hunting that they took a bridge out from, and put a 3 ft. high berm of sand on the other side. We skirted it on the ride in, sidehilling on a 45 degree angle walking the machines around it, lol. On the way back out, I went directly over the berm in 4 low. Should have done it in high range, as I backed off the throttle on the downward decent, and with my belt drive, it stopped on a dime on a 45 degree down angle, and I almost went ass over teakettle over the front handlebars, lol. I didn't even have my hand on the brake. Don't know how I managed to stay on the machine. Same here on the 2 and 4 wheel drive selection. But not the locking diff. When I turn the 4 wheel drive on, it does not activate unless it feels the rear wheels spin, so it automatically turns on and off during a ride when needed. Has never failed on me yet, and is quick activating. But like I said, I don't test my machine in extreme situations. I like to be able to get where I am going, and back out again, without any hassles.
  24. Darn, I had just left to go to bed. Oh well, I needed the sleep regardless.
