My cheapo phone has FM radio and quite a few gigs of music, I can stream it to my Bluetooth hearing aids , I would assume you could do the same with a Bluetooth speaker in a boat.

I'll say it's a pike, juveniles often have that barred appearance turning to spotted as they mature and the fins look too rounded for a hybrid.

I'm on Bell, embedding works for me if I click on more reply options and enable HTML.

I thought spring was here

My wife woke me this morning to tell me, she knew I was a fan, I had just watched a recent biography, 2013 I believe, called "The Life of Riley" a couple of days ago. For me BB was probably the most identifiable guitarist, just one note and you knew it was him. RIP

Most women use nail polish remover which is basically acetone regularly, so it could have some behavioral effects. Methyl Ethyl Ketone , we used it a lot as a solvent in the coil coating industry, not nice stuff.

Previous to the 30's the fish we today call Walleye was known by many names including Yellow Pickerel, Dore and usually Yellow Pike stateside. At a conference a group of biologists in the 30's were not happy about this situation as the fish was clearly not a pike or pickerel and they came up with the name " Walleye " as a common name. I still call Northern Orioles, Baltimore Orioles and Longtailed Ducks, Oldsquaws and probably the generation below me is still more comfortable with the old names, same situation.

My memories are of a much smaller fish as a youth, little research tells me the ones I was familiar with were the Grass Pickerel, we'd get the odd one as a kid in the Chippewa Creek/ Welland River up near Wellandport.

Hybrids would be my guess , they are pretty big for pure pickerel.

I don't see any mention of it, but I'd do the transom too.

Smokercraft, Sylvan, Starcraft I think they are related companies like Chev, Pontiac and Buick, anyway the Starcraft forum on iboats has some of the best rebuilds of tin boats out there with a lot of experienced people commenting and coaching along the way. Maybe start with the 3rd sticky on rebuilds and restorations . http://forums.iboats.com/forum/owners-groups-by-manufacturer/s/starcraft-boats

Luhr Jensen Jet Divers in the small size and 5 colour lead core rigs are good choices off of fixed planer boards, probably could use inlines too, for fishing the twenty foot range instead of dipseys.

Same Lake Trout Caught Four Times , Four Years in a Row

Yeah , that cool considering the time spacing. As a kid I believe I got the same WGSF at least 4 times off the same dock but that was in the space of a week's vacation. -
Thanks for that info capt, our vet usually refers to it as heartworm medication . I've never had a tick in my yard here in 31 years but Elsa does like to run with the pack at the local dog park and she was a rescue initially , so the heartworm is a plus for me. To get rid of the fleas in the house I spread Borax on the carpeting , worked it in with a broom and vacuumed a few days later, lot cheaper than the specialty product at the pet store.

Our vet started Elsa on Revolution in April, maybe similar to Advantix, controls a number of nasties. There was some fleas when we gave her a home last August, we gave her a few treatments then and I found a few dead ones when brushing her so it does work. https://www.revolution4dogs.com/

In situations like that I always struck too soon, at the bulge, and pulled it away before the fish had it. Watching the leader line junction really helps. Great video

Actually before Toronto had a NBA team I associated Raptors with Birds of Prey, hawks, eagles and falcons, but then I was a avid birder in my younger days. Between the team and the movie Jurassic Park people pretty much think of dinos now. My present ride is an 06 Jeep Liberty with 69000 kms on it, solid little suv that tows fairly well, maybe harder on gas than some but then I don't drive many klms in a year.

Weber Kettles are a lot lighter than an egg.

Most siwash hooks I've encountered had the ring eye slightly open so that you only had to pinch it slightly to close the gap on the ring. Didn't have to thread them on.

New outboard propulsion system being looked at
dave524 replied to woodenboater's topic in General Discussion
Heat is a byproduct of the combustion engine so heat in the winter really doesn't take from the efficiency of the engine, now, in winter, how are you going the heat an electric vehicle with out using a good portion of your battery power and range? -

I can see the transom of the boat going up and down with the flipper movement , make about as much sense to me as replacing the wheels on my truck with mechanical legs, but I am a skeptic when it comes to new ideas. -

Doesn't matter what people want, we are getting a mess of them just south of me on top of the escarpment against some very vocal protests. -
I don't know about it being expensive here, my wife of 15 years is from Florida, previously Indiana, she could not believe how inexpensive prescription drugs are here compared to the States. Don't they have buses full of seniors coming across the border to buy their meds here anymore ??

I can see the envirofreeks using that propulsion system on a solar powered electric motor. -
Very nice, I shorecast that stretch a lot, good access all along there and as you saw the fish are in tight, been here since 84.
