  1. Good afternoon Lew
  2. There is also some confusion over regs. I know a few people that thought that bass opens on the 21st because they moved it ahead a week last year (4th Saturday instead of 5th Saturday).
  3. Starting to enjoy your posts as much as Moosebunk's!!! Only difference is a little more humour and a lot less fish!!!!
  4. Great news all around Tony. You're right, that boat is well worth waiting for.
  5. I've got the 522ic. You're gonna love it!!
  6. Take care Stoty, I'll be thinking about you and your Mom.
  7. I will be at the lower end at Pioneer Point Cottages. Stop in and say hi. Pioneer Point
  8. Way to go Victor! She's a beauty!!! A couple of things: I would definitely get rid of that pedestal at the back. I would consider lowering the drivers seat (lower pedestal) and possibly putting another one beside it if you have room. Does the control console have a kill switch? That would certainly make the boat safer when travelling (as long as you use it) I didn't notice any tie downs at the back. I would consider putting a short hydraulic pedestal at the back. Something for the future. They're a little pricy and I know that you're a starving student You're gonna love your boat and the better access to the fish. Lots of memories are going to made in that boat. Now you can go fishing for real fish!! jk All you have to do now is solve your ladies washroom problem Here's a picture of my first ride. My buddy bought it from me and three boats later, my first one is still going strong. Still have fond memories of her
  9. 33rd Annual Invitational Bass Classic. Good Friends and Traditions. And like jwl said, I'm one of those that the opening of Bass Season is like Christmas Eve. The only thing that helps me get to sleep is the alcoholic consumption at the fire the night before!
  10. Nice fish. Way to go!
  11. Memquisit Lodge on the West Arm (just a mile up from Lakair). Not sure about the beach, but the cottages are exceptionally clean. Also have a workout room, a bit of a spa for the ladies. And the fishing can be exceptional. Memquisit Be sure to download their pdf file. Very informative.
  12. Nice report Mark. Like others have said, that spot looks gorgeous!
  13. If you pick up the dream where you left off, please be sure to post the results. One of the best reports of what never happened.
  14. Way to go Jason!!! You continue to be one of my heroes! Sounds like a fabulous day on the water. Were you fishing with anybody I know? Gonna be hard to get rid of that old boat with all the memories attached to it!
  15. Congrats Lew, great report! You were starting to sound like Moosebunk with that writeup.
  16. Way to go Mike!!! Great start to the season. Were your knees knocking and heart pounding after you caught it?
  17. Hey Rattletrap, just a little followup. Evidently , the largemouth are currently in quarantine. Like I've said before, a biologist is constantly checking conditions and if anything doesn't seem right, fish are put into quarantine. I will monitor this one. Boat Sales have been excellent, they're selling out and everything at the factory is on backorder (see smbhunter's comments). ATV's have sold out and are awaiting 2009 models. Hope this helps.
  18. Thanks so much Sinker. I am in love with Newfoundland and have never been there. One of my "50 Things to Do Before I Die" Our band (FishGuts) plays a bunch of Newfie Songs. SaltWater Joys and Song of Newfoundland to name a few. Looking at the pics sends chills down my spine. Thanks again.
  19. I'm in on Saturday, I'll check it out. Saw the big bass in there a few weeks ago. Also got an email this week that there a pile of new Musky Lures (MuskyMania Spinners, Pearson Grinders) and Lucky Craft Rick Clunn Wake Action Crankbaits along with a few others. That's just great! There goes another paycheck!!
  20. Great spot jwl!!
  21. WOW Cliff!!! Great job! As everyone has said amazing job and I know how many hours that must have taken! Can't get that tune out of my head. Do you have the tab for it?
  22. Went to one of his seminars at the Sportsman Show a few years ago. It was in the afternoon on a weekday. My buddy and I ended up being the only ones in attendance. Spent the hour just listening to stories that he normally wouldn't tell during a seminar. My gut ached from laughing so hard. Have met hime several times since at BPS. Just a genuine good person. Jamie, you have a PM
  23. Great story. Looks like you were the one that was really rewarded.
  24. Way to go Jen!!!! I'm still trying to figure all this out , but I know my first one caught on my own will be a real rush. Was the 26 Lber entered in the Derby?
