  1. Nice fish Steve! Looks like a great day!
  2. Stop by and say hi Maureen.
  3. Don't forget that BPS will price match. No sense in running all over the country burning gas. Sorry, I know I'm biased, but ask motv8tr or a few others about BPS' contribution to Fishing for Tyler and other events. BPS puts significantly more back to the industry than any other store! A lot of what they do goes under the radar, because in many cases they're not looking for the publicity out of it.
  4. You got that right. I've talked to a few people who have bought cheap watertight containers at Wal-Mart or the Dollar store to store them safer.
  5. If anyone is not happy with service or any other issue they should always ask to speak to the MOD (Manager on Duty). Actually, on the other hand if you're happy with the service you received (I know most of the fishing associates go out of their way to help a customer) you could also let the MOD know that as well. BPS has a reward system for their employees and letting them know that also helps promote good service. If you are like me, you should always expect good service where ever you go. If you don't tell anyone about your issues then it can't be fixed.
  6. Working at BPS Saturday and Monday, but will be on Bellwood on Sunday for our first CTTS Tourney of the year for Pike. You're welcome to join us.
  7. I was talking to George Wallace (BPS Promotions) about this sort of thing last week and he was suggesting that we could have an OFC get together there (at BPS) where he would be glad to field questions from those in attendance. I thought that it might be a good opportunity for a meeting with him followed by an OFC SWILL at a nearby restaurant. Thoughts??
  8. Not only do you not have to DISCONNECT anything, you don't have to CONNECT anything either. Just plug 'er in when you get back to your dock or driveway. Once its fully charged, it'll keep them topped up with a trickle charge. I love mine.
  9. I gotta remember that one!! Nothing like the excitement of seeing the cottage come into view after a long winter!!
  10. I believe the Bellwood Pike Derby is the following weekend. We're having a Toonie Tournament there this Sunday though if you're interested. 11. Might be a tad tough to cut back to trolling speed Buckaroo!!!
  12. HOLD ON ROY!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats on the new ride!
  13. I've got the same unit Stoty (and I love it), but haven't played with it much other than NO FISH ID and increasing ping speed. Let me know what you come up with. Good thread MustFish Thanks.
  14. Looks like Heaven is growing!!! Great report TJ. How far is it from home?
  15. Nice report Victor. You can almost see that bulge in the pike that is probably the Rock Bass! Good to see you out with your Dad.
  16. Great pics Jamie. No better fishing than with the little ones when their catchin'!!
  17. Congrats Steve. You should join us next Sunday for our Pike Toonie Tournament on Bellwood Lake next Sunday. Even if you win, its not gonna cover the cost of gas though
  18. Glad to hear things are still coming along Lew. A great MOther's Day gift for your Mom too!!
  19. Happy Mother's Day Roy!!!
  20. Been using Power Pro for the last 4 years. Just took it off the first reel I had it spooled on. No stretch and super sensitivity. Don't try and cut it with your teeth (you will lose) or clippers (use scissors or a knife). I use a fluoro leader in super clear water. Great stuff!! I'm going to try to spool up some of the Berkley Flouro this year to see how limp it is.
  21. NIce spot! Congratulations
  22. Cookslav, Thanks for taking the time to put that together. Thoroughly amazing!! Glad you went from chump to hero. I'm sure your family will be recounting this story for the rest of your life. Awesome fish and I was really taken by the colour of the meat! And to have a chef on the trip! It doesn't get much better than that. Thanks for taking me away from work for a little while.
  23. I think I was one of the ones you were talking to. You brought up some very good points Brian.
  24. Great seminar Rick! Thanks for taking the time to put all that together. Much appreciated. Can't wait to try out some of those strategies when I get out Pike Fishing in a few weeks.
