  1. I will be staying around the corner at Memquisit Lodge for our FishGuts Fall Classic. We'll be staying in Cabins #16 & 17. I'll be there from Sept. 15 to 21. Ned Devine (my son) and SoloGill will be there later in the week as well. Will definitely get over to see you guys. Watch for the Tracker Pro Guide 16 with BPS stickers on the side. Will try for Friday to get a chance to meet Mr. Clemens.
  2. Congrats Radnine! Great looking fish and nice report. Thanks.

  5. I'll do what I have to, to get my hands on one of those world class pike you seem to catch so casually. :D

  9. Well after 38 1/2 years, today is my last day at Dofasco :thumbsup_anim: It has been a fabulous place to work and I will miss my "Dofasco family". Now there is more time for family, fishing and friends!! Hopefully, I will now have more time for my OFC family and get a chance to fish with a few more of the great people that inhabit this board. Oh yeah, I still have to get up tomorrow morning to go to Bass Pro, but let's face it, how can you call it a job when they pay you to talk fishing with the customers  Have a GREAT day everyone, 'cause I know I will!!
  10. Must have been a good feeling putting those kids on those fish!
  11. That's awesome and so well deserved although it really doesn't come as a surprise. One of the fringe benefits for the Esox Mag folks being members here. Hopefully, someone will take advantage of some of the other awesome talent that posts here. Way to go MB!! :thumbsup_anim: :clapping:
  12. Nice Seminar! Excellent info Garry.
  13. If you launch in Chippawa it is really strange because the river flows backwards. It is part of the feeder system for the power generators. The water there (from the Niagara) is deep and green with a strong current. When you get to the area where the feeder stream forks off (drum barrier), you can see a distinct mud line from the water coming down from the Welland River. There are some good size bass under the bridges. I don't remember the fishing being as good as jwl says, but it sounds like he knows the water better. If you follow the river all the way back to the Welland Canal, you will come to a huge wall at the end. I did a little research and the Welland River actuallly siphons under the Welland canal!! Good luck and let us know how you do.
  14. Is that first pic the last picture ever taken of that rod?? :o If so, I'd be pretty upset too.
  15. Garry, It was great talking to you at BPS on Saturday! Always wanted to meet you. Almost crapped my pants when you told me you used to work at the BIG "D". Nice report by the way. Always great to see the kids having a good time.
  16. Terrible news Ron. I've thought of him often.
  17. Stayed there the last few years and the place is excellent! Can't say enough good things about it. Be sure to download their 44 page PDF file. Tons of excellent info in it. Memquisit Visitors Guide Good Luck
  18. Congrats Tony, I know you've looked forward to this for a long time. You should be especially proud of having a long term plan, and sticking to it. That baby will be packed with a ton of memories over the next few years!! Way to go buddy.
  19. Yeah, the guys at work straightened me out today I'm still impressed
  20. That was an impressive performance Steve!! :worthy: But if you caught all those 3 lbers, how come you only weighed in 4 fish instead of 5?? No more room in the livewell?? I was certainly humbled by all the big fish brought in. Eva's LM almost weighed as much as my five!! Can't wait for Balsam.
  21. Awesome pics!! Check out the guys finger in the last pic. One for the Musky
  22. That's all really good advice there. My son was using Mark Kulik's slammers last week and they were awesome! Gotta pick up some for myself.
  23. Congratulations Steve. Looks like a great time!
