  1. Like Big C mentioned.... lots of variables. One particular outting comes to mind though.. I was at Lakair a few years ago with BC and we were just having a go at it in front of the camp... It was the middle of night, we had had a few wobbly pops and BC was peggin em on Hula Poppers!! Mind you, that was in the fall.. the time of the year when the eyes may have been dialed in to frogs moving out to deeper water in order to bed down for the winter.. Either way, we were giggling like school girls!!
  2. What I'm wondering is how this "policer officer" passed his spych exam?! He should have never been given a licence in the first place!!!!
  3. Some nice fish there Mike. Some of them are black as all hell.. Makes for a pretty gnarly looking fish! I remember catching blackies like that in LOTW.. I figured they were deeper roamers but I guess it could have been simply a colour variation.. Good stuff mane. See you in the fall. cheers
  4. LOL. Gotta love sloppy bassin. cheers.
  5. Nice fish! You sure like that slop doncha boy!
  6. They certainly are slippery.. A fish that size is tough to hold on to. Well done!
  7. BC... I'm a big jerk.. I'll send ya a pm. The distance is killing me dude.
  8. Wow, what a tank!! Is that a silk cloth wrapped around his tail?! Very sensuous...
  9. Perfect lunch hour viewing material Joey! Much obliged me lady.. cheers
  10. That's that gnarly barrier north of the GO tracks. The OMNR consideres it a fishway and as such, there's no fishing within 25 yards downstream from it. http://www.insidetoronto.com/news-story/3893091-anglers-fined-1-000-each-for-illegal-fishing-in-etobicoke-creek/ The term fishway in this case is a total joke, as it is no such thing and should be removed IMHO.
  11. She may have had a big white sucker in her gut and was trying to speed up her metabolism... In that case, it wouldn't have mattered what you threw at her. I'm thinking if you saw her she most likely would have made you.. Spooked or not, she was not going to eat. If she was in the shallows but in ambush mode, a subtle twitch with a low profile bait like a bunny leech or soft plastic swim bait might have done the trick. cheers HD
  12. MILK SNAKE. Looks to be about 3ft long. Am I right?
  13. Great report! Those sunsets are truly incredible. Thanks for sharing. cheers HD
  14. Congrats Tony! What are you gonna do with a Rav4 though?! Throw it in the pile?! Who else had a chuckle at that gene pool rant?! wow.....
  15. Good stuff brother!!
  16. Why am I thinking Charlie White's fishing machine??!!
  17. I could tell you... But I don't wanna.
  18. Was in the market for a new pair of breathables this spring... A good pal mentioned the Reddington Sonic Pro packable waders.. I looked into it and they've had excellent reviews. At close to 3 bills they're not the cheapest waders. Mind you, a cheap pair will probably only last you one season. A friend of mine has been bying el cheapos every year now for the part 3 years and finally got tired of the hassle. He's bought a good pair of breathables this year and he's very happy with them. Myself, I splurged a bit and shelled out for the new Simms G3s.. lol cheers, HD
  19. Wow Joey... There's definetly more to Lakair then fishing.. Well done!!
  20. Maybe they're getting harassed by worm dunkers while they're in the shallows...
  21. LOL ya beat me to it. Solid 40. nuff said.
  22. Dude.. I've seen you cast.. You're way too violent. Lay off the scooby snacks!! luv, skeeburd
