Fluoro is seagar blue label. Loops are secured using 100lb braid and binded with brute force and a hardner.
Hardware is string-ease stay-lock snaps and swivels.
I'll send some pics later.

When does the need for roe trump someone's understanding that this was a living thing and should have been given the outmost care and respect...
That's just a frightful display of pure and utter comtempt for a fish, and for fisheries management in general.
Brutal.
Thanks guys.
Mike, you've always come through for me so this was a no-brainer. Feels good when chats turn into hook-ups, gear and craft are shared, and things come full circle.
Mark, you my homebrew!!

Nice to see a write-up from you, Erik. Good info too.
Paddled part of the Petawawa into L. Radiant years ago. I'd go back there in a heart beat!
Some nice esoxes there budday!

First bug is Giant Water Bug. It is not a beetle. A beetle is from the order of coleoptera. That bug is a "true bug" and is of the order of Hemiptera.
Second bug is NOT a caddis. The proportions and rostrum tell me that this is in fact a diving beetle larvae.
Both are predators and are piscivorous, meaning that they eat fish.

The only reason this trial is being speeded up is because of the number of witnesses and the public outcry..
I haven't read that article so I'm not sure of what their intent is but you're probably right. I'd be surprised if he is in fact sentenced.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
