  3. I knew a dnr agent in arkansa. he regulary saw folks taking a deer, outa regulations. knowing the harvest went to hungry folks,he walked away. I feel the same way. unfortuatly theres many that have money and break the rules. sustinence before law.
  4. are you sure there not shad dying
  5. first time for me I sent a message. all ontarians should enjoy the resources.
  6. hi downrivers reel good .lasalle ramp turn back upriver 1 mile ,saltmines or east end of fighting island. .either way. jig/finesse minnow..or jig and Wyandotte worms. enjoy your walleye dinner.
  7. not to stir a pot. .. .we went thru a similar issue on st clair. slots sizes never proved to be any answer. gill nets and mother nature herself will dictate the future.. the mnr can only do a small part.. hope it works out though.
  8. slot size was a disaster here years back..
  9. I have to go l.st clair. no scenery no black flies, skeeters. but its amazing fo musky, bass and walleyes. if ya want a perch feed without worms that's another plus.. ramps are good and cheap plus affordable lodging.
  10. sweet. were all suckers for puppy pics
  11. no big surprise. gouge.. im shocked they never implemented salmon stamps.
  12. no phone addiction here. . I refuse to be a sheeple.
  13. to many rules. here in Windsor no permit and taxes on asphalt wont raise taxes. I have 36by 20 front. back is 40 by 25ft. . I hate sno shovelling lol.
  14. simply super dad. thanks for the looks and memories.
  15. N.A.W. exactly. some city folks think meats made in the back of a box store. grown into cellophane wrappers. while they wear there guccis and, coyote trimmed Chinese coats.
  16. very sweet. nice to see all that after this past winter
  17. Davey boy very true. problem is only part time wages paid. canadien store owners are normally, hands on operaters. the mart brothers are stocked by. Maurice. .. as we slowly become absorbed into a u.s.a. shopping atmosphere the u.s.a. is being handled from Asian influence..
  18. big bloc corporation run . there fueled by Chinese offshore products. the walmarts of the outdoor world. small manufactures and retailers are at the mercy of deep pocket corporations. my area gas been reduced to very few independents. if your not having live bait your outa business in the fishing end of it all...sadly theres many canadien baitmakers that cannot break into the box store world due to whipsaw dealings, plus after a canadien product is exciting, and fishes its guaranteed a box store will go to asia, copy it. again asia does not honor trademarks, copyrights either. then again its all lead back to our government leaving the floodgates wide open. believe me I have been in the biz 30 years.
  19. being here in Windsor, fishing the Detroit river, theres walleyes. most local guys really don't want spawning sows. the smaller the sweeter meat.. plus its always a great excuse to get back out again after a fish fry. I do know northof here on small lakes/rivers its crucial on selective harvest. great post.
  20. guys here are selective. most don't keep walleyes over 21 inches. they toss back the big stuff.
  21. weird. but im sure theres enuff bears to go around lol.
  22. Canada selles 3.8 billion dollars of electric power to the u.s.a. I would agree but, canadiens are paying thru the nose. as hydro gets more expensive here, why are citizens getting fleeced. .. that number 3.8 billion came from cbc news.
  23. I hate reading these things. ...thoughts for his family/friends and the driver.
