Right now, $1700. In the spring, $2200. That's based on age and stated good condition. If it where a newer 14, with a newer motor you'd be in the neighbourhood of $3500. My thoughts anyway.

He's trolling for pickerel rod in hand. This also allows you to instantly drop your rod back to feed a light biter. Rod holders are great, but not applicable to every scenario.

Sweet rig, it'll work awesome! You'll like the PP metered line, it's just a bear to find it. I had to order mine!

New trolling motor in the Spring! but some curves ahead...

On a pontoon boat I don't know that it's overkill. I've only ever fished off one, but it was a bit of a sail in the wind. I have an xi5, but the minn kotas are pretty awesome, I doubt you'll have any regrets! Definitely get a quick release bracket. My boat sits in my driveway , but I still pull the motor off. Enjoy. -
Eagle claw 42 was THE hook, could straighten one out on a snag, then bend it back into shape and keep on fishing lol. I was just thinking I'd pick some up the other day. They are the ultimate worm hook in size 12.

8pm to 8am... Fortunately it's my last night and I'll see the kids in the morning!

It don't matter if you put a password on it or not, if you want to cross they will access your phone if they want to.

I'm okay with it!

It's not the same without the tank in the parking lot.

Nothing wrong with an okuma. I haven't tried many, but my son asked for a raw 2 a couple years ago because he liked the looks. Ended up he preferred fishing with one of my drifters, but the raw performed well. I have a pair of float reels with drags. I really like them, as sometimes it's a convenience when having to hustle down a steep bank to land a fish, or to get past some trees etc. or at the end of a fight while unhooking. I've never tried the okuma dragged reels, but I'm sure it would perform ok for the price.

Sad to hear. The Dundee store was always a favorite.

Pretty close. It was staggered over 2 years. I actually paid about $85 a month for all that at the start for 6 months, then it was $100 for 6' then $115 taxes in for the following year. 2 hd boxes, ok tv, which I don't even watch, and unlimited internet which we use all the time. Given the green light from my wife, I would dump landline and tv in a second. The ONLY reason we have TV is because it was cheaper to get a package with all 3 than to have internet and phone only. I don't even want the phone but she likes the kids to have a landline even though the eldest has a cell etc.
-
I've had bell for 2.5 years now, unlimited Internet, no idea how fast, plenty fast for anything we do. I have basic satelite and a basic phone included. It cost me $115 a month for 2 years taxes in, and it just jumped to $135 taxes in 6 months ago. I only have this because my wife insists we have a 911 line for the kids. Otherwise all I'd have would be unlimited Internet. So far, they've been pretty good. Only had to call about my bill twice in that time. At my old house I had Rogers for everything including our cell phones, and I was calling them every month to complain about all the extras they would try and stack on the bills. I've been Rogers free for 2.5 years and went with virgin for cell service. I haven't had to call them once.

When I'm using the atv, I try to keep everything on the racks. A Jet sled junior goes across my back rack, and everything goes inside it. The auger and my pop up hut goes on the front rack. If there isn't much snow, I'll sometimes pull a fishtrap guide, and this just fits beside my bike in the back of the truck if I push the bike over and use a couple ratchet straps. I haven't found a sled that fit under my bike yet, beside yes but not under. At least not one designed for hauling a lot of gear.

$160 for the whole fender when I broke a huge chunk off mine. Factory yamaha.

I've used mine for retrieving divers in cold weather when hunting beaches. I never even gave it any thought. You'll be fine. -
This year I had a boat with a rod locker for the first time in years. With the exception of downrigger rods, my rods lived in the locker all year. I just drilled out the rod holders that where inside the locker and removed them so I could store more. For winter, in this house and my last 2 houses , I've mounted a couple of 2x2's across the top of the garage door, high enough so that rods can't be damaged, and I just put them above the garage door out of the way.

Has she got her heart set on destroying this province?

Frankly the argument between both of you has become boring and predictable. It would be nice if you just agreed not to adress each other so the rest of us can enjoy the banter without the animosity. There is a PM system that both moxie and yourself can use to snipe at each other. Perhaps both of you could consider using it to take each other's heads off . -
It's up to you man, what you have on hand will work just as well as anything, and the price is right. You can always leave a bunch of it on as backing if you don't like it as a mainline. Most people use 20lb just because it requires less to fill the spool.
-
Heck use it as mainline. I like trilene XL 10lb for all my mainline for float reels, but I'd give it a go if I had it!
-
Nobody used Dacron backing when I started fishing with a float reel a long time ago. Somehow we got by lol.
-
The submersible led trailer lights go on sale for 50 percent off pretty often. They are awesome, I have em on both my boat trailers, you can't go wrong. Just keep an eye on the flyers.
-
If you have some old junk 20lb test line or something similar, it works just as well as Dacron for backing.

It's been my experience that when this happens to a guy, he screwed up big somehow. Most often the persons knows what he did. That's my answer for you, and perhaps not the one your looking for. My advice, if you really don't know what you did, remain calm, go for beers, ask what you did (cause you did something) and prepare to take your lumps. Old friends of 25 years don't suddenly ditch each other without something having gone wrong. I second the buddy trip thing though, what married guy gets a free pass to go down south on a boys trip. Fishing sure, but to the pony ride palace.... Unreal LOL.

Save yourself the headache man, your about to get cop bashed, and told about all the terrible power tripping things that Policemen do . It's not worth the bandwidth to try and argue to the contrary . As far as they are concerned your last sentence is how things are. Sad but true .
