Been looking down the rabbit hole have we? I looked but have more questions than answers. Don't know if you've seen any of the documentarys out there on the subject, but heres a couple. Welcome to globalization great isn't it? I just read in the local paper that the proposal as it stands will not be approved. They will change the approval make it sound real good blah blah blah and it will go forward. The little guys who stand to make no money only suffer always loose. I'm sure a few politicians wheels have been greased. Protest all you want big money always wins. This is going to be very bad news for the local watershed and extremely bad for the prime spawning sites in the pine.

Once you get a lil closer to the pack pull out your binoculars if you can spot a boat catching lots pull up as close as you can drop anchor and start fishing.

Smashing any boat through any sized waves likely isn't going to do your hull favours in the long run. Surprised the old man hasn't chimed in here, but hes had his 16' princecraft for 15 years now and its spent most of its life rigging on georgian bay in sometimes less than calm conditions and i still don't think it leaks a drop... He also keeps the speed down when it gets bumpy out there unless I'm in the front seat egging him on.... LOL

Yup don't eat the fish but be sure to go to the dentist and get those pitted teeth filled with some nice mercury amalgam fillings.... If your that concerned with eating contaminated fish take some chlorella along with the meal.

Colour of that meat is crazy red! I have a pilot friend that works out of yellowknife. I asked him what arctic char tasted like. He said its like lays potatoe chips once you start you can't stop till its all gone...LOL Thanks for sharing!

So if i understand your point of view correctly the 5% of canadians that are making gains due to high oil prices are going to hold up the economy for the 95% of canadians that have to cut back on everything due to high oil prices? The second leg down of the new "Great Depression" is just around the corner. You heard it here first. Its ok though the richest 5% of canadians will just keep getting richer.

Umm I'll be the first to admit my mind is slowly going down the gutter but this makes no sense what so ever. Who is making 5 grand more per week? The 30% of canadians that have little to no savings?
