My point exactly Wayne ... maybe a little rain/thaw is exactly what we need to get rid of the insulating layer of snow .. drain of some water and get things to tighten up over night ?
Oh well .. where I go is a pretty short walk so it should be tooooooo bad
OK .. so we have a little 'thaw' happening over the next couple of days ... I am wondering what all the experts think ... will this perchance melt off the top layer of insulating snow ... and allow the slush to drain away (and tighten up overnight)... or will it be an aweful slippery mess for Saturday ... either way I'll be on lake Joseph chasing lakers !!!! (even if I have to wear my chest waders)
Well .. when my wife called me to SHOW me that our dryer was leaking (I assured her it was IMPOSSIBLE)... I was shocked to find about a half a gallon of water and 20lbs of pine cones in the exhaust pipe - that a little dirty rotten red squirrel had dropped down there each time he was getting into the house through the vent and got stuck getting the pine cone through the little hole he had found his way through in the exhaust hose .... eventually the condensation had waterlogged the pine cones and was dripping back down the hose and escaping under the dryer .... so many things wrong with this - electrocution, fire, who knows how long it had been oging on for ...
Have it checked out ASAP ...
Nice job Wayne ... I see the 'village' out there off Waubaushene when I drive down from Muskoka but always wondered how much current there is out there ... nice eyes and Herring ...
What a great Idea Joey ... I'd be up for that In fact wouldnt he fall out of his chair if we lined up for Dan's autograph ... and apologized for interrupting him with his guest
Dont make fun of this one.. it is very true ... sometimes the mat slides forward and over the accelerator ... it happened to my mother 40 years ago in her plymouth valiant and she got in a BAD accident ... always a good idea to be vigilant and check your mats ( especially in winter when you tend to have cheap 'generic' mats for protection against the snow ... nowadays most cars have little safety clips to prevent the mat from sliding forward (on the drivers side) .. gues what they are for
But you are right this is not an issue for only one car manufacturer IMHO....
If you do I'd absolutely be interested in a co-branding/co-marketing arrangement ... Please PM me ... if there is any chance we could make some up for Charity events etc...
Lake Ontario, Lake Eerie, Georgian Bay and The Kawarthas - followed closely by 8,000,000 lakes north of Barrie
But it all depends on what (size/age) you are after and what time of year
My PB came from a lake in the Calabogie district ....
Good for you .... I am coming up for 4 years in March ... and I was a 2+ pack a day-er
Do yourself a favour ... set that half pack aside ... quit NOW .... dont throw it away ... keep it near you ... every time you want a smoke ... just remind yourself of your goal ... and ask your self how hard and painful it realllllly is right now ....most cravings only last about a minute and a half ... surely you can make it through the next minute and a half .... took me about two weeks of that kind of thinking before I realized I had stopped timing the length of those cravings ... you can do it !!!
OK .. sort of a good news bad news thing for me ... either a) I can't be there because I have to be in Vegas the next day ... in which case I could donate a pair of Tickets to the Leafs Game that night (against Pittsburg) ... for silent auction type thing... OR ... I will be there because I ditch the Vegas obligation ... but then I keep the tickets ... and donate cash ... either way count me for $100 - just let me know where to send it
TJQ let me know if you want some help around the BBQ ...or if I should charge the batteries on the Humminbird
I guess its kind of a win win really
Or years from now .. when you run for Prime Minister .. you'll have to explain to your kids why you thought it was ok to cheat ... while they drag your name through the mud ... just pay the piper ... then you'll be able to play all high and mighty like I do
Wow, thanks for sharing that ! Nipigon is definitely on my list of must visit places ... along with Labrador for some
'Quebec Reds' ... just can't beat the colours !
