  1. Great to see you back Garry! Heading down to Arizona this winter? I for one, would love to see some more of your photography!
  2. Happy Birthday Cliff! Many Happy Returns. Looks like you are very well taken care of!
  3. Thanks for the reminder Roy. I'll never forget the look in my Friends eyes when I told him what had happened. He was up helping us out here... doing some teaching... from his home in North Carolina.
  4. Our congrats to the whole family Clive! Very nice!
  5. Congrats to you both Terry! Way to go!
  6. Great report, and some real nice pictures of the kids having fun! Guess what? Mine are all pretty much grown up, but when they do go out for a couple of hours, little panfish like those Sunny's make the day!
  7. I bought my Minn Kota Maxxum 65 #, 24 volt bow mount about 6 years ago, but at the time, Gagnons was the best price and they had stock. Personally, I would not buy from LB's no matter what. I think BPS is a little pricey for this stuff, but they most likely have stock and when they go on sale there, it is probably competitive. I love the motor and would buy another in a heart beat.
  8. Beautiful! The hummingbird is definitely the "Mr. Bean" of the bird world!
  9. The best I have heard of in a while, is a company from the US that I do business with. They only give 3 weeks vacation to everyone, but every 4 years, you must take three consecutive weeks off with pay. You are also allowed to tack on up to 2 weeks from your vacation that year! Can you imagine the whole month of July off??? WOW! I think this is a great idea to encourage people to stay with the company. I also like the idea of an extended vacation every now and again. BTW, I've never had more than 2 weeks off at a time... and that was only once.
  10. "Dental Lab Tech? west virginia? short work week?" LOL, Paul, good one! Sorry Plumma's! JK
  11. Welcome to the board! Sorry,I can't help with your quest, but people such as Big Cliff and many others are local to the area and should be able to give you some ideas. Maybe try using Google Maps in the "satellite mode" to look for parks and entry spots to the waters in the area?
  12. Very Nice Charles! I am only 8 minutes from that lake and wondered about whether or not they would allow the use of a bigger boat without the gas engine. I was going to bring home my canoe and use it there. Good to see some nice Bass in there.
  13. I'm a miserable old *as%ard, so NO, I don't like to hear music while out fishing. It is almost as annoying as the sound of someones "fishfinder" beeping continuously as they sit over 3 feet of water with the outboard running! Once back in the truck on the way home...crank it up! Classic rock or some new Country.
  14. Cliff and Sue, You have my condolences as well. Herb sounds like a very fortunate man to have sister such as Sue and a god buddy in yourself Cliff. I'm sure you made a huge difference in his life.
  15. Nice going guys! Considering I have not even had a line in the water at all this year... Oh well, maybe next week! I thought for a minute or so there that you had changed boats again. Then I realized that this was probably Terry's Nitro?
  16. Johnny, you caught some nice fish, filed a great report, and kept your shirt on! Life is good! LOL
  17. Beautiful fish Steve! Glad someone is out after them!
  18. Hope you had a great day today Chuck! Happy Birthday!
  19. Nice report CCMT Canada! Sounds like a great outing!
  20. WOW!!! Nice work indeed! You should be very proud of those pieces.
  21. Advanced Taxidermy has relocated to King Sideroad near Hwy 10. They do nice work (very nice!) but are pricey. I don't buy all the stuff I have heard about skin mounts not lasting. They will last just fine if they are done right. And they don't need to take 2 years to be done right either! I have used Jeff Brain on Hwy 11 near Orillia several times and this guy is a true master with the air brush! He does them right and has the artistic talent to paint them up too. As for size, that is entirely up to you. The fish I have on my wall are there because they would not have made it after being hooked and I have them for my enjoyment to look at all winter long. They are not there for bragging rights, so "trophy" size was not a consideration.
  22. Great report Tom. Those are some fantastic looking trout. WTG!
  23. I only know of Aikmans in Mississauga, but not sure about london area...or Hamilton for that matter.
  24. Mine is an "inney", but I can't really see what diference it makes. The water pressure theory does not make sense. Just how much pressure do you think you would have there? Whatever floats yer boat!
  25. Beautiful work Chris! Been kinda wondering where you have been lately. Good to see that all is well and you are just very busy!
