  1. Nice goin on the pike. Great lookin Weimaraner. I have two of the neurotic buggers at home. They seem to like steelheading with me on the river. They also love eating roe bags and dead salmon. Makes for great breath.
  2. With bass season just around the corner and all my rods rigged up and ready to go, I thought that I would share some of the more respectable and photo worthy fish that we ( me and Weedlines ) boated this year. Most fish came off of jerkbaits of various sizes and colours. Some fish fell victom to spoons and spinnerbaits. We even experimented with the new swimbaits that have hit the scene. Enjoy the pics. Heres the first fish of the season......Was this a sign of things to come ? We started the season off nice and close to home. A couple of respectable T-dot fish....... Bumped into this old boot with a jerkbait.Pretty cool to say the least. Then it was up north to a few new lakes that we always wanted to try, as well as a few old favorites. These two pics are my favorite.........Solopadler style! A couple more...... The same fish..... Well thats my story and Im stickin to it. I hope you all have a great bass season. Now I can concentrate on this..... and this.....
  3. Great looking family. In 12 years from now your going to have your hands full with those 3 girls. Especially if they look like your wife. The local farmers co-op can supply you with electrical fence to keep the boys out ! Good luck this weekend, I hope you nail em good.
  4. Nice lookin fatty ya got there. What did you get em on ? Good luck on the salmon tomorow.
  5. I second Hastings Marine. I believe that they are the largest Yamaha dealer in Southern Ontario. Talk to Mike Maynard. Stand up guy. Lots of new and used motors to choose from. Oh yeah.......Congrats on choosing Yamaha 4 stroke. you wont regret it !!!!!
  6. You got em good. I have had some of the best walleye fishing of my life at that exact spot,We call it the "middle of nowhere "spot. It seems to me that, that lake is getting better and better later in the season. Not to mention all the other giants in that lake. Good going, thanks for the report.
  7. Your the one that asked about the tourney? And now your the one slamming the guys that are fishing within the regulations. When does your bass season open down there ? Oh yeah........thats what I thought.
  8. nice report, nice fish.you got em good. thanks for sharing. you do good job

  10. Nice lookin Skeeze. I think that I can smell them from here. You didnt tell us what you caught them on. Anyway, good job out there!
  11. Judging by your writing skills, you should be able to find work as a freelance writer. No?
  12. I love the colours on those brookies. Thanks for taking the time to post your trip. Looks like some quality time with family and friends. You will cherish the time you spent with your old man. Very nice.
  13. Nice pike ya got there. Thanks for the report. It has been a great season so far for the toothy critters. I will be back at em tommorow.
  14. Very classy. Just another example of how fishermen can be seen as ignorant idiots
  15. Great report. What was the lure of choice ? Thanks for showing us the Simcoe fish porn. Keep those reports coming.
  16. Sorry, I dont mean to rain on your parade. To me, an out of season fish dont count for crap. Anybody can go out and catch a 5-6 pound smallie on Simcoe in early June. I have read that a fish can increase in weight up to one third its body weight with eggs.I also feel that it should not count as a personal best. Sorry, just my two cents.
  17. Winds from the North............do not go forth. nice pike report!!! Thanks
  18. Ben, Nice report, those bass are making me drool.Stop teasing us southern folk! Great pike and walleye too. Do many people target pike up there or are they considered nusance fish ?
  19. Check out Sir Sandford Flemings heavy equipment course. A young labourer at my work took the course recently and loved it. He is now employed as an operator. This line of work can be a great job, but like many other lines of work you have to be prepared to do your time before moving up. Also, layoffs in the winter are inevitable. If you end up taking a course and graduating, you will have a pretty good resume with experience @ John Deere. The course @ Sir Sandford is realatively cheap. I say go for it !! You have nothing to lose.
  20. Had this picture sent to me today. Apparently it was Lake Ontario out in the west end. 29++++ pounds.
  21. Great report, I love the colours on those pike (dark copper ) Thats what I call real CHROME. Thanks for sharing those amazing photos. Very psycodelic sunsets. MIKE
