  6. To the OFC crew, Hope everybody had a great and safe 2009. I thought that I would share some of my more memorable moments of the softwater season. After I complete this post I will get all my rods out and clean them up and store them till next spring. Enjoy the pics. WINTER AND SPRING I didnt get out very often for steelies this year but I had a pretty decent March hanging out in the bottom end of the creeks on the north shore of Lake Ontario. A little porn for the steelheaders......... OPENER SPRING PIKE I look forward to this time of year. Here are some of my favorite pics from this spring...... BASS Finally its here. I told myself that I would fish a few new lakes this year and managed to learn ( sort of ) five new bass waters. Caught some great fish this year but still didnt catch that "nickle" this season. FALL PIKE Its funny how things go full circle. We are blessed in southern Ontario with all sorts of fishing to be had. I wish everybody a great 2010. See ya next spring. P.S. Photo bucket sucks

  14. "Those fish are beautiful! What region or area are they from?" The largies are from the Kawarthas and the smallies are from Haliburton. "nice job mike..any of them there fish on the jigs you got from me????" Sorry Todd, I wish that I could say yes but I had a bad rust incident this summer. I lost about 20 jigs. Let me know if you will have any more available before bass season starts next year. I love the custom colours you and your brother make!!!!
  15. Hey guys, i was just going through some of my pictures from this fall and thought that I would share some of my bass photos with you all. We had an amazing fall this year chasing bass but November in particular was a great month with a couple of 50 fish days. Slowing down presentations was key to getting good hook ups. Senkos, Jig n Pigs and even Jerk baits all produced fish. We witnessed the "fall feedbag phenominon" at its finest. The bass seemed to be schooled up pretty good. When we found one we found many. Sorry for the late report but I suppose that its better late than never. Good luck to all the guys on the hardwater this season. Enjoy the pics.
  16. Im surprised that you got good customer service at Lebarons. I would rather pay the extra $ to do business with the smaller family run stores where they actually treat you like a person.
  17. WOW.........awesome pictures. Those are magazine material. The best Quinte report of the season. Congrats

  21. holy cow ! awesome fish. thanx for posting.
  22. 24/7, yeah, I have been using it quite a bit this season. Its a 3/4 oz. bass flipping jig with a yum money minnow on the back.Pesistance finally paid off. I like to use 55 # flourocarbon leaders for pike. I tie it on directly to 50 or 30 # power pro with a back to back uni knot. It seems to work well although I have been bitten off. The key is to inspect the leader and re-tie often. Thanks everybody for the kind words.
  23. Amazing day to say the least !!! Thanks for showing us how its done I cant seem to buy a fish on the " Blueberry Muffin "
