Thanks for the report. Those are some good sized steelies. It seems that the larger fish seem to enter the rivers last as a general rule. No crowds at that time. You guys seem to be on fire.

Awesome. I love the pike porn. In 22ft of water,what are you catching em with? This month we have had moderate success with the gators in 5-8 ft on jerk baits. Very clean lookin fish.

I break one almost every couple years. Im on my third one. Pretty good warranty on the rods. I think it costs half the purchase price for a new one. Bring it back to where you bought it and see if you can get a new one right then and there. I think it depends on the customer relationship you have with the store. You might have to tough it out with the back up rod for the rest of the season.

Cool video. Growing up my grandparents lived within walking distance of the dam on the Ganny. Every easter it was a family ritual to go for a walk and "watch the fish jump". Pretty amazing stuff. It was funny how a crowd would gather and cheer em on.

I personally like the double fisted pictures. Most of the guys that show these pics probably did not kill the fish. They like to keep their 2 or 3 best fish throughout the day in a livewell for pictures at the end of the day. Not only do they show that they can catch a hog of a fish, but they show that they can catch more than one. I think that anybody can fluke into a trophy fish from time to time, but can they catch mutiple trophy fish throughout a days fishing. Thats what takes skill. However, I do agree that the backyard, garage and kitchen sink pictures dont look very appealing. Just my 2 cents Mike

Beauty fish dude !!!!!!! I have seen lots of 20 # steelhead over the years on eastern tribs. It just goes to show that the grass is not always greener on the other side. I would be very shocked if any body can show me a L.Erie fish that big. No more calling these rivers "ditches" any more. LONG LIVE THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE O !!!!!!
