  2. Cool...shoulda fried em up! Giant water bugs are a delicacy in some eastern cultures. For me, more likely to induce vomiting.
  3. Wow. Those are brutes. You must be up to your ears in walleye meat
  4. Good stuff as always. You've got the vertical jigging game figured out big time for the big lakers.
  5. Holy moly you whacked some monsters. Nice job
  6. Ive heard its a tough fish, especially for lakers. Bass should keep you busy at least and there is plenty of small lakes close by worth checking out.
  7. You did a good job of adapting to conditions. Very cool report
  8. Awesome! Very nice presentation...looks like you were playing photographer just as much as fisherman! Very cool that you ended up getting mixed in with good group of strangers
  9. Bob's on Trout lake road has some awesome leeches right now. Discount, Billy Bob's, and North Bay Outfitter's should all have leeches this time of year.
  10. The downriggin double header (one main line one cheater) is a fun one too.
  11. Good stuff. Did you put a rigger on your pontoon??
  12. Specks rarely jump, especially ones as big as what you described, and bass love terrestrial flies. Sounds like a fun day on the river though.
  13. Very nice buddy. I am gonna wheelie the hell outta that big red! And you know theres monster brookies in that first pool
  14. Northern ontario is about half the price...hopefully that doesnt change.
  15. Check to ensure the map datums are the same in your gps as they are in google maps. I dont know how to check this, but i would assume google uses WGS 84. You could be off by hundreds of meters if they are different!
  16. Looks like you were jigging them from a pontoon boat...that is the life
  17. Mmmmmmmmmm good. Love the stringer shots, and love fresh bass!
  18. Lots and lots of public water within 2 hours with residents. Check out the upper reaches of the gbay tribs
  19. Those are some pig lakers! Very nice job
  20. But where is dee PROOF? Ya ya i know, but the OP asked about the proper pronounciation, which is poostin as far as i can tell as an anglophone working in quebec
  21. Good job. Those perch must be a hell of a fight on a dipsy setup.
  22. Considering it's originally from quebec and a french word, id say theres a right way and a wrong way to pronounce it.
  23. Lots of people dont like snappers and find it perfectly reasonable to kill them and leave them to rot. Pretty sad.
  24. Poot-sin. Ask for a POOTEEN in quebec and you might not like what you receive
  25. What a monster. Natural?
