  1. Wasn't the whole premise of line twist while ice fishing being detrimental to the action of the lure? ie the jig spinning by itself. Steelhead don't care if you have line twist, and no one will ever convince me that the Wallis cast is worth the effort, lol. Now if there's a correlation between casting style and fish on the bank, I'm all ears.
  2. You're going to spend more time playing with that then fishing, ask me how I know! :)
  3. I'm sure we're all guilty of that I know I am, lol! Is it my fault I like new fishing toys?!?!
  4. Georgian Bay, I hope your pockets are deep.
  5. Keep them coming!!! I never get tired of looking at these.
  6. The new 'hot' ice fishing thing for 2014, lol. People will buy them, go out and still not catch fish. BUT THE REEL WAS SUPPOSED TO HELP?!?!?!??!! lol.
  7. JVR's goal was sooo dirty, lol!! Talk about hands! No one else I'd want around the net if the puck is loose.
  8. I think I'll just use this out on the ice this winter!
  9. Boston is so fresh in my mind I thought it was earlier this year, lol! Good game so far tonight, good tempo, lots of chances.
  10. Cabelas (In the US or online) has some great Kalins jig heads that I used for lakers during the open water season. Anywhere from 3/4 up to 1.5oz.
  11. The spin also has to do with the lure itself, not the line. All tube jigs will spiral.. I haven't seen one that drops straight yet (Unless it weighs something silly like 1-2oz)
  12. Nope, it was Bernier, but I meant 2013 (The shortened season) not 2012. Matt, I'm not one to give up then start cheering for a lessor team
  13. I dunno man, but we need a kickstarter that's for sure! If I'm ever being an ass, just tell me, lol!!! It's frustrating sometimes being a fan of this team.
  14. I'll stick to my 1000 series spinning reels for the ice.
  15. The only reason we made it to the playoffs against Boston 2 years ago was Bernier, he played like a man on fire. I think he's earned that #1 spot. Brodeur should stay retired, he's 42.
  16. I'd like to see a Joe Thornton type guy as a FLC, as far as goalies go, we've got two great ones. Some more beef on the D line and we'd be set.
  17. There would be a lot for a muskie, even for the average guy...
  18. I just used kids as an example because they'd be exposed to hundreds of other rugrats at school. I'm not in contact with 100 people in a month, lol
  19. Haven't had the flu shot in years.. Although I tend to think that's more laziness then anything else I'm sure if I had a bunch of kids bringing home anything and everything from daycare/school I'd get it.
