  1. Dont Bother. I got roped into buying that last fall. The thing is junk. Tacklewarehouse even has them on sale now from the previous higher price. They are still a great bunch of guys to do business with. Its for bedding fish I think. I caught fish on it but not that great. If you want a realalistic craw, Try buying the Huddle Bug. I have great success with them.
  2. I for one look at this from a Business aspect. I own my own business and if I ran it like these guys who would be there to bail me out. Knowone, thats who! I for one am glad that they are going under. These companies have been living high on the hog for way to long. Their problems start from the top down. Dealers have the attitude that our truck is the best. Screw the customer. I speak from experience. I have bought several. I hope they all lose their status and that we will see a better company come out of this. I do currently drive a GM amd will not sooner than later. I will be buying foreign. Keep a Canadain working. Are you kidding me. Go to the lots where these workers park their cars. How many foreign cars/trucks do you see. Many more than domestic. City of Toronto has tons of Hondas on their roster. Someone call the Waaaaaaaammbulance. Mayor Miller, socialist Jackass, buy Canadian, all the government is crying. I work for GM, I just spent $50,000 on a hotel room last night because I'm a CEO. I make this much for sweeping the floor How much do you make at your real job? . I find it very sad that these guys are loosing their jobs. But yet they were the ones who backed the union. Give me more, Give me more. Please. One bad apple after another. Yet guys who have supplied them have to settle for a percentage of what they sold them. This just makes it legal for them to screw everyone. I can go on but that would be a very long post. My 2 cents
  3. They were out in Keswick as well. Good to see
  4. Stay away from the Lucky Craft California baits, complete junk. They will come apart. I have three of them that have been garbage since the first week I bought them. Mikey baits are good but not that realestic. Girons, as most of my friends know are my Favorite Bait. These are a very hard to get use to type of bait. Not so true is that they are a one bite day. You have to know where and when to use them. If I were you I would probally start off with a softer bait style like the Mattlures series. I would go with the East Coast series. I do very well with them here. The Ultimate Bluegill has been a deadly bait on Scugog and Rice the past 2 years. To many people here firsh them for one day nd go back to their flippin jig or soft plastic. To stubborn to think outside the box a little. I have ben using swimbaits for years with great success. The first year was tough but after you start catching you will enjoy them. You would be surprised how many fish eat those so called Only West Coast Rainbow Patterns here. Simcoe is one good example and Lake O is another. I would also like to add that Bass Magnet lures out of kingston, ontario also makes a deadly paddletail style, probally the best on the market today as it tends to swim on the downfall. I have Basstrix and higher end baits that will not do that. Check them out.
  5. These baits are great but the paint will start to chip at the joints. I have their bigger baits without a problem. I love them. Need to be fished slow though. I have the smaller ones and they have started to chip alot. I have almost every Swimbait on the market right now. I would spray a little bit of clear coat on them before using them. It will work wonders. Very realastic to.
  6. I just watched it as well. Great coverage from OFC and Extreme Angler. I have to agree this site is a great bunch of guys and well Mark and karl are awesome to deal with as well. Loved the section where the Little girl told Karl after he gave her some pointers , "I've been icefishing before" Priceless. I for sure will attend nexts years event
  7. I have that Sony Marine Stereo as well. Great system. Not sure the cost but has stood the test of time for sure. Poundings out east in the ocean and great lakes poundings. Nice calm day drifting around with some nice tunes and knowone around is awesome for sure. Bass Pro sells a few very cheap with all speakers and connections as well. Some are under $200 for sure.
  8. I have built a few different styles of fishing/river boats. I have built wooden dorys, flats, skiffs, and a couple of open tiller boats. My grandfather is a ship builder as well my uncles. Grew up doing it. I even learned how to steam all the timber and the latts for making frame structures. I built a canoe a few years back as well as a Kayak when I was in school. What info are you looking for.
  9. I dont think that you will find anyone that carries them here. I bought mine from states side.
  10. That just made my day.
  11. Thats awesome man. Very exciting time for you and your wife. I have a 3 week old myself. Ours was 8lb 3 oz. That feeling stays for a while. CONGRATS
  12. Nice Commercial. Just caught one on WFN.
  13. Awesome man. Hope he gets it.
  14. Rigging Shoppe West Marine on lakeshore Total Marine at Scarborough Bluffs. Whitby Marine has alot of hard to find items as well.
  15. Lovin It. Gonna have a nice steak on the BBQ this evening with a nice brown pop. All ready took out daughter for her first walk around the block. Taken the weekend offf to hit Bass Pro tomorrow. Life could not be better.
  16. Weirdly enough he is a pure bread. I have 2 friends that breed them/ He has just turned out looking weird. He is Tattooed and registered as well. He was also suposed to be larger, that did not work out either. Third whammy is that he is one of my best trained dogs for Rabbits but turned out to be gunshy, go figure. The other one that I have is a Mix beagle. A little kid let him out yesterday, thats how he got out. They know when they are free to roam boy. They sure take advantage of it as well.
  17. Just came back. Guess he decided he wanted to go for a solo walk. Thanks
  18. I live at Meadowvale/Lawrence in Toronto and have lost one of my Beagles. Called the shelters but no luck. Answers to Brandy. Has a city tag on his neck, Figured I would start here first.
  19. Awesome man. Best feeling in the world. I have a 7 day old at home myself.
  20. I use this knot with my Crankbaits and Topwater baits only. Gives it a straighter pull while fishing. It has to be done right though or its very easy to break.
  21. Not for sale. They are great units. Mine are linked on my boats and I take these everywhere that I need a mobile unit. I have the 2 transducers that can be used. I use the ice kit and the proper transducer and I use the normal transducer on my canoe/kayak. I have a 334 unit as well. I would check radio world. I do beleive they were selling some of them for a good price. I paid for my 334 with the full ice kit and boat kit I beleive around $1100 2 years ago.
