I saw him once in the Walmart plaza in Brantford. We nodded at eachother while we passed one another. He just seemed to have this energy about him. He's an icon here in Brantford and no doubt the town is mourning as well as the nation.

I wonder how crowded the lakes would be now without technology. Every kid now seems stuck inside playing vids. I cant even remember the last time seeing kids playing hockey outside. Good times for sure. I might be off on this one, but I always thought that some of these smaller lakes where back in the day got overfished and everything was kept are starting to make a comeback.

Quick question guys. Currently the wife is looking to get rid of some channels through Bell as the bill is ridiculous. We do have the fire stick. I told her I don't care what channels she gets rid of as long as I get my Leafs and SportsCenter. Can she get rid of Bell altogether and get those two somewhere else? Thanks

I may be wrong bud, but it sounds to me you may be new to ice fishing. If so don't venture out where there's no people. Cooks Bay was a great starting place for me when I started. Good luck and stay safe.

Just FYI when I got my first baitcaster when I was a teenager I practiced casting and flipping in my backyard first just so I could get the hang of it. I use mono in all my reels, but braid works too.

Very true Lew. When I show someone how to use a certain power tool I always tell them that the tool don’t care if your the nicest person in the whole. If you don’t respect it then it may mess you up permanently. I knew a guy one time a few years ago who had no fingers. He told me he was using his table saw in his garage and his neighbour came out of nowhere and scared him.

The driving is sometimes the difference maker and this weekend it’s probably going to be Niagara. Not much boat traffic on Niagara and getting no action the past few times on St.Clair has me needing a change of scenery. Your right Bill about GBay.
