  1. No doubt. Fortunately the wife was on board for the move too.
  2. Been out lots. On Monday I start a solo 4 full days out on the ice. I feel for you all waiting for the ice to form on Simcoe. Moving up north definitely change things for me when it comes to fishing. So many back lakes.
  3. That is definitely my worry. I did have a few problems so far but luckily nothing got tangled. I seem to be drilling the camera hole further from my fishing hole every time out. The further the better I think.
  4. Hello gentlemen. For Christmas I got a underwater camera and couldn't wait to use it. Just moved up north and I went out the last couple days and got a little action on both days. Caught my first laker through the ice which wasn't big, but my biggest fish through the ice. Much different fight then the perch on Cooks. I definitely recommend one. Can't wait to see a big pike or laker circle my minnow one day. Take care
  5. Merry Christmas to all
  6. Thames is the worst. Never caught 1 fish trolling through there. If you can get out into the lake then you got a chance. Only got out into the the lake once out of about 6 times as it was way too windy everytime. I just may have crappy luck, but I'm done with St.Clair.
  7. Thanks for the report Bill
  8. You’re going to get a real big one eventually Bill at your pace. Just keep at it. She’s out there you just haven’t crossed paths yet.
  9. Anybody mention the Banjo Minnow or Helicopter Lure yet
  10. It's beautiful up there that's why I'm moving up there in 3 weeks. Maybe I'll see you around neighbour.
  11. There’s a launch at Port Severn beach and park. It’s right off the 400 across from the church. You may have to get a second mortgage cause it’s pretty expensive. Gold coloured Williams Wobbler will get you on the dink pike. I would focus on the north end near the mouth of Glochester Pool to get on some bigger ones. Good luck
  12. Musky fishing does a toll on your body after years of casting large baits. My hands are not like they used to be.
  13. If you’re good with spending lots of money, time, and tears chasing these behemoths then all the best to you. I still curse that big musky that followed my lure to the boat when I was a teenager.
  14. This is got crap show written all over it. Get the lawn chairs out.
  15. Nice report Glen. Multiple muskie days are always nice.
  16. Image that thing following your lure up to the boat. “You’re going to need a bigger boat” -Roy Scheider
  17. We just got 2 puppies a few months ago. Here is Nash just after falling into the water. I hope he learned his lesson.
  18. Sweet vid man. Puff puff give lol
  19. Been using the one I got free from riding Maid of the Mist a few years back. Still in good condition.
  20. Didn’t go. Went to the Ancaster Tackle Swap instead. Next year I’ll check it out depending on where it is. First time for me being back since pre Covid. Made a few trades. Most of the guys were just trying to get rid of their stuff not bring more on. Only spent $15, but could have spent much more. I think I walked out of there high as the inside had that skunk smell going on lol.
  21. I don’t have time unfortunately but I’ve been donating $10/mt to 3 charities for a couple of years now. It’s good for everyone to give back to something they support.
  22. Those snapping turtles beg to differ lol
  23. Too funny with the tent. I went through the same thing Saturday. Wife holding onto the tent while I did my best to break it down. Ya we didn’t talk much until we got back to the truck lol. Luckily nothing broke. Thanks for the report.
  24. I'm very fortunate that my wife loves to join in on my fishing trips. She even outfishes me once in a while.
