  1. Navionics, Vexilar, & Sub Troll sorry but the limited time i have out on the water i want to use it as efficiently as I can
  2. kinda reminds of when George (Seinfeld) has his desk "modified"
  3. maybe Josh at Angling Outfitters could help you? usually its best just to replace the blades as its difficult to get them perfectly sharp again... proper care and a little oil can surely prolong the life of original blades
  4. nice fish bud - well earned for the time you put in there
  5. thanks Ron (hope to see ya out there this year perhaps!) i never even registered mine last year...
  6. hey Cliff winter weekend Nip Trips have allways been a favourite of mine though i dont think you ever attended.. i remember a few yrs ago there used to be an annual OFC Nip trip every January... not sure what happened.... nonetheless I hope your able to a get a crew together
  7. for now I prefer the openess of a tiller - big open dance floor im a multi species guy who fishes different ways on different waters - the tiller allows me to be versatile
  8. ive been running the 16' Crestliner Canadian tiller for 5 seasons now... (they make the same model in other lengths too) I am very happy with it I use it for trolling Lake Ont & Erie and am very comfortable in it. I also use it on smaller lakes & have no problem launching it off a beach The hull has a lifetime warranty & the 30hp 4stroke Johnson (tho its rated for 50hp max) pushes it at 30mph WOT.
  9. good to see your still doing well Todd... maybe see ya out on Lake O this spring?
  10. curious, what type (and pound test) of line were you running?
  11. wow 3 in a row for the "other" California Kid im a huge Jimmy fan, but i do hope now that Jimmy & Jeff have had had there Glory, that its Jr's turn to finally be a serious threat still dont really get why they signed Martin... ive got nothing against the guy at all, but really does he actually think he really has a chance at winning a race or two, let alone making the chase? good thing about NASCAR though is the relatively short "off-season"
  12. nice going curious tho as to why the sonar was in "Fish ID" mode?
  13. I know many folks that are now 50-60 yrs old that have been eating Lake Ont salmon & trout for 25+ yrs... healthy & cancer free a couple fillets arent going to be any worse off for you then that pack-a-day habit some have
  14. excellent points Tony could not agree more
  15. another accolade to add to your signature
  16. some big news recently from down this way Brian nothing official yet from NASCAR yet tho... http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/Article...,%20SUN%20MEDIA

  18. i just give the phone to my 1yr old son when they call
  19. nice going! cant see the gums or tail, but Blys fish may be a coho, if so thats a decent one
  20. Q107 is doing a tribute all weekend
  21. a couple mature lake O salmon salmon each season is no worse for you then a pack of smokes IMO but yes the smaller ones 2-5 lbs are the best
  22. http://www.naturalwondersangling.com might be a little late now... but get in touch with Joe - he'll take care of you
  23. love drifting - pay attention to wind direction & use it to your advantage with other aids like drift socks & the trolling motor
  24. I too was able to meet Gary at Lakair in '06 a very nice guy indeed who had much to contribute here
  25. good point Raf just add stabilizer & fuel line-antifreeze to your tank and run it through during your final couple trips of the season whenever that may be, then top the tank up for storage
