  1. not gonna lie...but id probably keep the current cottage but just build the sweetest friggin cottage youve ever seen...or buy one right next door to my parents place...but you get the idea...pretty sure that Pointe Au Baril might be the best area to be in that Ive seen thus far in my life...lucky me i guess. Boy oh boy, would i have a sweet alumacraft though
  2. crankbaits?,,,,just saying
  3. dont be surprised to see jose in a yankees uniform. They are aging quick and dont have too many big hitters anymore,
  4. every time you had something on i half expected you to have the 15 guys that stand on the last 5 feet of the piers fishing gear on the end of your line...at least you had much better weather than i did when i fished it over the christmas holidays this year. Nice fish.
  5. unreal, you guys sure did better than my buddy who literally rented a hut for 2 days and caught 2 perch and one tiny walleye.
  6. oh god...i heard about this on the news and here but didnt have much to say...but now I know who the victims are...oh god this is so unbelievably horrible wow. My dad is a lifetime member of the Kinsmen, and one of his buddies from the Georgetown chapter Dr. Jeff Sutherland has also been a lifetime member. Doctor Jeff has won citizen of the year in Georgetown for his work in the community the guy is a legend around town. Years ago Jeff was diagnosed with ALS...His slow decline has been really really tough for the community to watch, but the guy is so driven he continued to work as a GP even after the point he was confined to a wheel chair and losing his speech. Dr. Jeff is now in the late stages of ALS and requires 24 hour care and breathing assistance etc... The tragedy here is that the victims are Jeff's son and his girlfriend...wow...sometimes I wonder why certain people have the worst luck...that family has enough to deal with...wow wow wow this is so sad.
  7. I CAME FOR THE ANGRY MOB but have been left disappointed by Mech's disclaimer
  8. lolllll its every little canadian boys dream on a saturday night...to step on the ice...at.... the canadian tire centre LOLLLLLLLL the second home ice of the toronto maple leafs and the montreal canadians...its a sure fire thing that whatever team is playing toronto or montreal at Canadian tire centre is getting booed!
  9. somewhere in that ballpark. Was watching drugs Inc about 3 weeks ago and they were talking about the baltimore heroine trade. The dealers there dip a few yams (small pack of heroine) in fentanyl to ensure that a few people overdose with the batch. What happens is that the junkies hear that a particular batch has caused an overdose and it makes them all go out hunting for that particular brand (typically stamped with a small logo) If a tiny bit of the stuff can make a hardcore junkie die, you know its gotta be completely insane. a breastfeeding three year old....its sad when you see a kid like that that literally has no hope at all...so so sad.
  10. this is ridiculous
  11. this thread put a smile on my face...kudos to everyone! congrats on the sweet deal netminder! This forum has shown that there really are still some good people out there. I have had one particular member as well that has been overboard generous to me as well. Good stuff.
  12. he is definitely not 100% and is playing through it because if he took any more time off he will be out of the NHL
  13. 6 is the last ep...i could see this turning into something bigger though
  14. guys guys guys...please pleaseeeeeee do not group me in with the kadri fans. I absolutely despise him. In what world could you be a fan of a guy who dives, crys and gives up on plays after he gets hit or gets the puck taken away. He IMO is exactly whats wrong with Canadian Hockey. You have a bunch of pretty boy d bags trying to toe drag instead of going into the corners, playing body and putting the puck in the net. Ive been praying for his failure all year so that he can go and ask for a bunch of money and they simply take him to arbitration and he ends up getting 2 million a year cause his stats suck.
  15. weibe reminds me so much of me and my fishing buds lol. Yes we are dorky as hell as well. I totally get their humour, it may not be for everyone.. but i know for a fact that id get along with those guys insanely well. Also...netminder, it sort of his his manitoba accent...however he throws it on thick on purpose and I personally find it hilarious. Taro's poem at the end of the last day had me in tears lol. The dock perching was also epic, that totally reminded me of something that me and the buddies would do ahahha. One of my favourite parts of the whole series. Please whatever you do, do not cast doubt on the "reality" aspect of this show...the premise of "uncut angling" is that they dont cut stuff to just make themselves look good...the classic catch the biggest fish of the entire show at the end of the show when its clearly dawn on the first day of fishing. In regards to the (bass regulation part) Team Shimano clearly talk about catching their bass on the american side because they arent in season in canada yet... In regards to your comment about the temperature, the guys wardrobe completely changes from the beginning of the show vs the end...why? well according to environment canada, on Saturday the high was 29 degrees in toronto, and then a low pressure system moved through (which it did on the show) and the high temperature on Sunday was 11 with a low of 7...so yes you would be wearing a full suit cause that would feel damn cold after it being almost 30 degrees the day before. This is absolutely by far the best fishing show I have ever watched, most impressive in the last episode is how they read the water to find fish. The fishing geeks bloody drove around in a tinner, found some good water, anchored up and then proceeded to basically catch absolutely everything using a worm and a hook. Shows just how good these guys are.
  16. 43 goals? i hope they dont sign stamkos either...but you cant diss the guy lol but stamkos isnt coming to toronto, the whole point of opening all of that money up is that gardiner, kadri, rielly all need to be signed within the next couple of years. Leo isnt going to be the next captain, rielly is, everyone knows that already.
  17. FYI i have a 14 foot basic tinner...me and buddy finally got everything rigged up this year and absolutely killed it. Luckily i got my 14 foot starcraft with a 1991 suzuki 15 given to me by my old man...it sounds like you already have a boat so thats the start. Ive got a Humminbird Pirrahna Max that I got off of kijiji with the case and batteries for 100 bucks off of kijiji. I run the transducer along the side of the tinner up to the front where I have a home made casting deck placed on the seats. The Pirrahna max sits perfectly at the front of the boat infront of my troller foot pedal I got my troller off an old friend for $150 I bought the navionics app for my iphone, and have a charger case that I found in the middle of the road one time. I went on ebay and bought a iphone car window mount for 4 dollars. My boat is now fully loaded with GPS/Sonar/Electric Trolling motor and casting deck for the grand total price of aprox 400 bucks. Ive got all of the luxurys at basically 1 8th of the cost.
  18. Its particularily sad that these guys are hiding behind their race and tribe to commit these kind of crimes. I feel bad for the people of 6 nations as well. Everyone suffers at the hands of the garbage few.
  19. Do i feel any sympathy at all for the theif? Not what so ever, hes now paying the ultimate price for his actions. So be it. Do i feel any sympathy for the shooter, yes...he didnt ask to be put in this crappy situation. Like many have said, I cannot say that him completely sniping the intruder without warning is called for, theres a very very fine line, but i personally feel that if you approach the situation, make clear your intentions by stating, back the eff off or i will shoot you...and the guy proceeds to continue to steal your vehicle or makes an aggressive move towards you, he would get dropped then and there. Here we go on the old gun debate...its 3am, how does buddy know that the thief isn't armed? Is he supposed to wait till the scumbag who has nothing to lose shoots at him first? Once again, this isn't a situation where the shooter was out carrying a gun around and came across this scenario. he is at home in the middle of the night and some scumbag shows up at his house to do god knows what. I personally think the amount of legal crap that the shooter is going to have to deal with is enough punishment, maybe probation etc. But does this guy really deserve to be behind bars for being thrown into a terrible situation on his own property!?
  20. is it just me, or is the best part of the show watching them fail? Just to know that it isnt just me lol
  21. wth! i swear sometimes dogs just tick...and they literally turn to wild animals again. Ugh that must be aweful.
  22. major benefit of 2 stroke over 4 is the ability to single handedly move the thing when you get stuck (which you will) You wouldnt believe some of the situations you will find yourself in lol if you always will be riding with a partner then whatever, but if you are trekking through the bush along, go 2 stroke.
  23. by claiming "hip hop" isnt real music, you have basically displayed how little you know about the subject matter and music in general. You dont have to like it, i dont like EDM, country or house music...but they are music and I can appreciate the talent of the individuals making it. Manitou, i cant say i agree with you referring to "rap" either. You are now diving into sub genres. Rather than confusing everyone lets let KRS one provide the definition "rap is something you do, hip hop is something you live" we cant confuse the subject matter of one artist as now not being classified as hip hop/rap...many artists that you might listen to were mostly likely highly influenced by artists with said violent/negative subject matter, but that is the essence of music. True good music is a product of its environment, thats why hip-hop for example, that was born on the streets of compton in the mid 1980's is violent in nature. Its groundbreaking and simply a product of the environment. Its not manufactured. Thats how you can easily define good music. Also please dont make assumptions that because I listen to hip-hop i dont know anything about music.
  24. now we know why apple installed their own app on iphones
