only decide to fish musky if you are ready to make the investment...unfortunately i made the investment last year and then moved to BC and now i dont fish musky anymore... its not cheap. Heavy rods and big reels are a must...you are looking at around 300 bucks for the rod and reel. Then you need a proper net...bolt cutters or good side cutters and jaw spreaders. Baits start at 15 a piece and up. Spool of 80lb+ braid and a 100lb fluro leader. Thats your shopping list, dont even bother starting until you have all of the above.

dunno if anyone watched the daily show bits... compare it to drug enforcement...do you believe that all drug enforcement should be stopped because it does not solve 100% of the problem? fishing musky for 12 hours with blades is probably one of the most painful experiences I have ever had doing something enjoyable lol keep your body in good shape, eat right and excercise and many of these problems fix themselves...easier said than done though.

i understand you guys shot a lot at the range etc...but it still makes 0 sense why this is a necessity. Its not...its a convenience... You guys are acting like im anti gun, im not, I own guns...there is a gun case in my parents basement with multiple rifles. It still doesnt justify the fact that people need to have extended clips with semi automatics or even fully automatic If you want to argue that Gun control doesnt work...its already been proven that it does. They did it in Australia and it worked perfectly. The fact that this guy was able to shoot 100 people with a legally purchased weapon clearly shows that there is a problem here. Once again, I am not saying ban guns etc etc...but holy crap, at least make the guy reload after taking a couple of shots. Ive been there done that, weve shot gofers and magpies on a cattle farm with shot guns and .22's It still does the trick, we just needed to reload every once in a while.

pretty hard to shoot 100 people with a 2 shot clip... you can have your guns and still shoot too...just not in rapid succession...when was the last time you needed to shoot 100 rounds of ammo while hunting?

False, Obama attempted to introduce a more stringent background checking system and it was shot down immediately. Nowhere did it state that he would restrict the type of weapons available or stop anyone from legally purchasing weapons, it simply asked for a more stringent background checking system and the lobbyists completely shot it down.

man, i swear something about this year is really crazy...like some big names are going in one big clump..
