  1. ive been trying to find this site forever!
  2. Hey Folks! the guntersville trip is quickly approaching. I am looking for some advice on: where to eat (I dont think we are going to bother trying to make dinners for the two days, we will just focus on fishing and drive to grab food at night). what the guntersville state park is like (anyone ever been?), specifically the boat launch? Crossing the border with a boat. Is there anything i specifically need to know aside from having my ownership? last but not least does anyone wanna throw me a couple of spots via DM? Ive been doing a lot of reading but maybe youve caught a 10lber there and would like me to have the same experience anything else i should be prepared for on the drive down to alabama via Nashville.
  3. yet basketball players be out with contusions, and soccer players who play once a week take games off because of turf toe and fatigue...dont get me wrong im a fan...but basketball especially just keeps getting softer and softer and floppier. you cant suspend a guy for a slash to the hand...otherwise we would have suspensions every day.
  4. thats pretty dang steep...5 and a game..ok whatever...1 game aight thats a bit much...2 games what the hell
  5. heres what they discussed on talk radio...if you put someone in the box early...say a guy like Matt Martin who obviously didnt play that entire PK anyways...youd think whats the loss? Well the strategy here is that when the PK ends you could potentially be trapped in your zone and need that guy coming out of the box to be strong defensively...hence you dont put matt martin in the box and gamble. Babs did an interview post game and said I will never do that again ahhaha.
  6. this happens on 69 north of go home lake almost every weekend...no need to go that far north to smack a moose. its scary as hell driving a car up there at night any weekend. Ive only been doing it for 10 years and have had 3 close calls.
  7. as a warning the jasper edmonton drive sucks until you get to hinton...its long and theres not much to see at all. I would almost rather drive calgary, banff, jasper, banff, calgary and back then do a loop.
  8. shame its before the may opener...pike you are going to have to head inland...otherwise any of the muskoka lakes are going to hold lakers for you to chase. Shame its not a week later, the pike fishing outta waubaushene that time of year is unreal. same with the crapolas!
  9. been lucky enough to go to every province and not so lucky to have done the drive from the manitoba sask border to edmonton many many times ahhaha. The first trip there though is interesting. The prairies are still definitely something to see. I thought that the battlefords were always pretty neat...it is what you make of it. Even lloydminister can be interesting if you see the provincial border in the middle of town. if you are driving to calgary via edmonton, i would do so by driving through drumheller...the badlands are friggin crazy the calgary to banff drive...phh just drive it...your jaw will basically be on the floor once you hit bow valley. I would also highly highly recommend driving the ice fields parkway towards jasper even if you turn back after getting to the crow foot glacier and the columbia ice fields. That is probably the most incredible drive anyone can ever do. It only takes an afternoon and is totally worth it.
  10. im guessing you dont want to fish anywhere on georgian bay because bass isnt open until the last saturday in june? there is some ridiculous fishing to be had over the July 1st long weekend on georgian bay. Throw a spinnerbait or top water lure anywhere that looks fishy.
  11. the one game in the last 20 years i cheered for ottawa to win...good job, you can go back to losing now.
  12. lmao...i guess we are bigger liars than ever too. Good god its harder to find friends that dont do coke than do these days. I personally absolutely refuse to even be around the stuff so it makes it hard for me to even go out anymore. If they want to group weed in with that...HA! complete joke...find me someone thats 30 or under that doesnt smoke/injest weed in some form...i can think of two people out of every single person I know and im 28 lol
  13. you apparently can treat that with cortisone...that stuff is lethal, one spray and you basically are addicted. The only good side is that usually you can wait until you at least arent sick and then deal with the congestion...being sick and congested is terrible.
  14. They have been selling them for over a month through real-sports apparel. They do look incredible and the details up close are even more impressive. If i had the money I would get one.
  15. yall are debating what addictive is now... video games are addictive, fishing is addictive...they all trigger some kind of receptors in our brain and therefore I would argue that marijuana is also addictive in the same sense that basically anything in the entire world can be habbit forming. I know plenty of heavy weed users that 1. are addicted to pot 2. are negatively effected by it from over use....if you want to argue to the contrary you can try, but observation is all i need as well. Just like basically anything, too much of anything is not good for you...you can mess yourself up from drinking too much water as well..its all relative. You guys can claim that iron is spreading mis-information, but i feel like if you are telling people that regular heavy use of weed has absolutely 0 negative impacts you are also spreading mis-information. I smoke too much i feel like crap the next day...if i eat too many doritos the same thing happens. stranger things have happened, but the last thing I would want someone around here to do is read a thread that says you can do as much pot as you want and have no negative effects...i know its unlikely but you never know.
  16. lol Purple Space Crack....i should have known just by the name
  17. hash many times and its a completely different feel. The same goes for edibles. Im not complaining because i partake recreationally the majority of the time. the only time im medicating is if I hurt my back then its way better than an robax or other pharmaceutical trash. basically Kat William's has the best take on this...i cant post it here cause its wayyyy R rated but just google "Kat Williams this -ish right here"
  18. did you see Bozak's post game interview? http://www.tsn.ca/video/nhl-maple-leafs-5-lightning-0~1079271 to paraphrase "you get to do some stuff outside the rink as a team i think it really helped us tonight" with a huge grin on his face Also...I dont know about you guys but every time we watch now everyone is yelling and cheering when we score...its been a long time since goals have really mattered. I also saw the leafs play the jets last month and I havent heard the ACC that loud in a longggg time.
  19. We just recently came across by far the strongest strain...the stuff is actually too crazy...to the point we really struggled to make dinner for ourselves hahaha. To me i begin to wonder, who in the hell would use this is medication? You would need to be in pretty rough shape.
  20. cant say i agree here...i have no idea where you are buying your stuff from, but my experience with legal dope is that it is by far the best product.
  21. i very very highly doubt it. there are very few bait restricted areas in Ontario aside from parks. I could be wrong though! the biggest regulations are usually related to fish sanctuaries with extended closed seasons.
  22. June Pickerel on a bass spinner bait as described funny enough I have caught them in June literally in the pads <5 FOW caught 5 fish in 5 casts...they are agressive and feeding.
  23. I said a month ago that I didnt think they would make it, even when they were in. When those games in hand on boston just disappeared I knew it was going to be a grind. the only point in favour of making the playoffs is to allow the young guns to wet their feet in a season where there is absolutely nothing at stake. I can see the benefit that getting the first 4+playoff games experience out of the way would have, but aside from that the lower the draft pick the better. If you arent going to make it, then race for the bottom. Who knows we might see them start benching guys like they did to kadri last year.
