id argue that the round goby although invasive has had a profound positive impact on game species in georgian bay. Ive first hand witnessed the bass and walleye gorging on them specifically in the fall when bass are supposed to be out in the open flats chasing shiners, ive found schools of tank smallies in <2FOW in total feeding frenzies. I guess the concern is with the smaller competitor species of fish.

wash will never win the cup with ovi you need a complete player as your leader to win it all. the cup is perhaps the hardest trophy to win in professional sports it literally takes a perfect make up in order to win it. Ovi will win a cup in his last year of hockey playing for some bogus team like the columbus blue jackets or the minnesota wild. my round 1 predictions were decent except for the ottawa series i picked bruins in 7. aside from that I was pretty darn good.

im alive! We only caught a quick storm on the way down heading into windsor. Pretty good downpour but then great weather the rest of the way down. A cold front moved through on saturday evening though and we ended up getting pinched between two tornado warnings. The rain that came down while we had some southern barbecue in guntersville was perhaps some of the heaviest I have ever seen. It then proceeded to downpour on and off without stopping until we left at 9am sunday. Tennessee was flooding up pretty good in spots but we made it out. We kind of got lucky, the hardest rain seemed to go north and south of us. Guntersville bite was friggin tough as heck. even the tourney results this past weekend werent great. Winner of a 240 boat tourney was 39 lbs!

for whacky rigging specifically id go medium because whackys typically arent fished right in the slop. Ive always fished them on right on the slop edges. all about application. if you are whack rigging on GB totally different story vs rice lake. Consider the lake you are fishing and if the rod would also have application elsewhere. Also consider the rod brand...ive felt MH's that felt like heavies and in higher end rods, mediums that feel like a cheap MH so its all dependant on brand and application.

Buddy posted a picture of an OOS fish claiming he smashes em there every year and then encouraged his buddies to go do the same. an update to the situation as always murphys law and snaf u were totally in effect this past weekend. There I was, with all of the parts the right tools. The second wheel after a smooth installation of the first. Punching the race in with a race punch tool, whack whack crack and the piece of the hub shatters and goes flying off. More research, i figure i can simply replace the hub. I make a run and buy a hub, go to install...the nut wont fit on...this isnt right...oh look at that our hub is 4 inches when the old one is 3.5...a ``short hub`` as they call it. tow the boat home on a broken hub sketchy...its now in georgetown. i make some calls today...ya the hubs dont exist anymore...gotta replace the entire axle now. 1 week turnaround if you can bring the axle into them. So ya im renting a boat in alabama and my boat is now stuck in the gta...great. someone tell my old man, you dont try to fix whats not broken. We should have never tried replacing the bearings in the first place, they looked to be in great shape when we pulled the old ones out.

my tinner is a starcraft and I havent had any issues with the hull yet in 12 years. Thing is dry as a bone still and gets worked over hard every weekend.
