The rice.... Soooo good done in the oven with an awesome amount of heat... And the plate.... Her pilaf, with the kabob, sliced cucumber, tomatoe and feta. With a fresh yogurt dip... Nirvana on a plate Having a issue with the second pic photobucket does not want to play nice... Weird. Needless to say it was awesome.

Got an email last night from the government of Canada. I had an outstanding refund. From a hotmail account no doubt..... Clicked the link provided... And sure enough it is an official looking government website... It was asking me for all kinds of info... Including my credit cards and their pin numbers.. I knew right away as soon as I got the email it was a scam, but clicked anyeays to see how dumb these morons are. I just hope those less technical ie seniors can see this for what it is.... A scam!

Weird... Did not see this post till now.... We have a set of gloves at work, that are fully elastic, rubber coated and cut proof... They are thin and alcohol does not penetrate them. (We use alcohol to clean/sanitize the converting line.) they are a tight fit and come in various sizes and are thin. They are now mandatory where I work due to hand injuries. I will get a name and or model number.... These are not insulated gloves, so if you have issues with cold without gloves, you will still have issues wearing these. G

Perhaps, you are correct. However given my commute on the 401 it would be 70-80km depending on the conditions. I have seen some terrible accidents on this stretch of pavement. Perhaps the fine should be In Line with the damage done and if their are palpable injury ( other then sprains or strains) but you raise a good point. G

I don't think they should be mandatory. There are a lot of folks that cannot afford the additional expense. The ones I just bought were over 1k when all said and done. That said I do get a 10% discount on my insurance. We are legislated enough in the country/province. However I would be 100% in favour of a fine should a driver be involved in a collision and not have proper tires for the winter. Careless perhaps? I travel the 401 for work, and worry about those without proper tires or that are over confidant because they have BIG tires (heard this before) or 4x4.... The stretch between Brighton and Kingston is brutal in winter, with multiple closures per year... Should people have the proper winter tires on thier car? Absolutely. Should it be mandated? No. Should those without proper tires be charged if they take out a family on the 401? Without a doubt! G

Some are not comfortable bring thier cars/trucks on the ice.... That's cool, everyone has thier own level of comfort.... I can remember driving back from Bernies place on the ice with 4" of water on top that was a humbling experience..... To each their own is what I am saying. G

That's nuts if any company won't return your calls when you are trying to buy.... Run! If this is how they treat you now.... Imagine how they will treat you when there is a problem or warranty issue. Your best to spend your $$$ elsewhere. G

What station?

We use to cull our own rabbit. We sliced round the ankles, and vertically up the underside of the legs. Around the neck and down the belly... We then pulled the fur/skin intact. As for tanning the hide I have no idea as we never did it... We just prepared them for the table in this manner. G
