  1. Thank you, this is exactly the type of reply that helps me come to grips with my mistaken thought regarding the cost of this repair. Usually if the tire is leaking, it stays on the car and is filled up as required. Now that I understand what is involved in the repair, and I am certain it is done right, I feel much better about what I paid. OK mods, lock 'er up before it gets nasty.
  2. This is what makes it very interesting......he is my brother-in-law
  3. I picked up a nail in my tire and went a well-know tire dealer, (not CTC), to get it repaired. After the repair was done I was presented with a bill for $42.35. He dismounted the tire and patched it from the inside, remounted and balanced the tire. Is that unreasonable? He did not offer to plug it as that is not a "recommended" procedure for repairing a leak.
  4. Kinda depends on the gift you're gonna bring don't it?
  5. There is a testament to labs!
  6. If you want to try a 21P Laser II, or a powertech 23P 3 blade send me a PM.
  7. What he said.
  8. Rizzo sees dead people....
  9. Both of you did very well! Ah-long you should enjoy the Ranger. BillM I am looking for something just like that too. Could you PM me the details?
  10. If you look at a bell curve, the most common representation of statistics, you will notice that greatest population is in the center. If you look at the 6th or greater sigma that is where the anomalies are located, such as loss of life due to seatbelt use. So that indicates that a certain person is very special, he has observed anomalies as a greater portion of the population. I would agree with that analysis of these statistics, as the man in question has the respect of many people who know him. Not to mention he has raised one HECK of a tough daughter.
  11. Let me guess, they're all from Quebec???

    hello

Welcome back FinS, try not to let what was done wrong define you, but rather what was done right. I found out that nobody is perfcet a long time ago. Lets see what you've been catching!
  13. Sometimes it's about the trip and not the fishing, I'd say this is one of those situations. Looks like you both had a good time.
  14. Be warned the red coats are out there. An' they have no sense of humour about smugglers.

  21. I had occasion to speak with Gord Miller ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gord_Miller_(environmental_commissioner) )at an event last week. He indicated to me that the quarry is as good as dug. Using a phrase such as "When it is approved". He also indicated that in his opinion the water problem will be EXCESSIVE water not a depletion of the headwaters. I made my points to the best of my ability, however one cannot argue with an individual who's mind is made up. I wanted to challenge him to defend his position at a public gathering, but I doubt he would be willing to do so.
  22. Just suppose, that the individual facing charges is you, and you are not guilty of what you have been charged with. Would you want a jury composed of un-caring, presuming guilt people judging you? Think about that when you are called for your civic duty.
  23. Stay away from sheep shearing competions is all I gotta say. Nice shooting as well!.
