  7. I am looking at it from the perspective of fuel savings, silence, and the fun of doing it. I like to troll, and find it is difficult to do with my bow-mount as the foot pedal will not stay in one position unattended. If one has an electric motor pushing the boat of adequate thrust, then one should be able to troll effectively at high and low speeds. The electronics are simply a variable resistor, and the wiring is already sealed at the factory.

  13. On a personal note, when Simon lost his camera, (and I DO sympathise), the picture of my very first ever number 1 salmon was lost. Not only that it was a heck of a nice unit! I hope the go-pro works well for you Simon!

  21. Don't skip. Just put your thumb on the spool and push down hard while you turn the handle a bit. Press the button to free spool and pull line out again.Repeat and it will remove the birds nest
