  1. Neat to see the science works. Genetics do count for something. http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/houston/article/DNA-test-reveals-surprising-origin-of-Texas-man-s-4447462.php
  2. Well, there ya go, two guys can agree on technical questions...
  3. I'm not certified by anyone, just been playin in the dirt for ~30 years. I'm thinking a payoff might have given you that result with a plate tamper. Unless of course it is a BIG ass tamper.
  4. To mildly disagree, compacting it every 3" , (even with a plate tamper), will achieve 98% Proctor. And that my friend, is a good solid driveway. I am not a fan of clear anything as a surface treatment unless a concrete pad is planned. And to add even more stability, place a layer of geo-textile over the existing base.
  5. Darn site won't work for me....
  6. It is a younger brother: source - I was the youngest in my family

  8. Consider Interlock as well, all the wear characteristics of concrete and the cracks are already in a decorative pattern.
  9. What DO you see on the computer when you pull someone over?
  10. Here is another: http://www.craigslist.org/about/best/dsm/763203032.html
  11. Perhaps Humber or lakefront promenade.
  12. Jack looks like Kenny from South Park in some of those shots. You didn't kill him I hope.
  13. The line guides aren't ...
  14. That is great news Cliff. Keep us informed.
  15. Then it would have to be wired into your leg to control direction. They are not quite there yet.
  16. Did they change over who was on the rod at all? Over three hours might be pretty hard on a guy.
  17. You've been in the med cabinet at work again haven't you?
  18. Talk about a bow eye...
  19. Good eye there Wayne!
  20. An update via email from Pikeslayer: Sean's condition remains much the same. Although still critical, he is stable enough that they have scheduled some neurological tests for a better look at what's 'going on' upstairs. We still remain positive and determined that Sean will pull through this. So here's some good news!! You can send Sean your best wishes and prayers directly via email and delivered to his bedside. We will read every one to him. Here is the link (thanks to Cliff & Sue); http://www4.albertahealthservices.ca/wellwishes/ Be sure to select Royal Alexandra Hospital in the location drop down menu. Sean's room number is ICU-18. Feel free to pass this information along. Many thanks to everyone,
  21. That is blaming the victim for the crime perpetrated against them. Similar to saying that this person wouldn't have been assaulted if the dress being worn was more modest. Anyway back to the original purpose of this post, I am glad that I have done what needed to be done in order to protect myself from further harm.
  22. I just found out that my CC was compromised, besides changing the card number and passwords, is there anything else I need to do/be aware of?
  23. Garry, You may want to stop by on your trek back from AZ, I have the perfect blade for doing what you are doing. It is called a triple chip. As well, if you are going to do a lot of repeated angle cuts, consider going to your local pawn shop and picking up a chop saw, (sliding compound miter may be the best)
