  1. I forgot to mention, the top was done with epoxy primer and automotive base coat clear coat.
  2. You could just re-power with brand new.
  3. When my brother painted my hull, he used a epoxy primer, after the gel-cote was sanded with 180 grit, and then he sprayed a single stage polyurethane. The prep work is the most important part. When you think you are done sanding, start over and sand again, repeat at least three times....
  4. Here is the link: http://explore.org/#!/live-cams/player/brown-bear-salmon-cam-brooks-falls
  5. Stop catching fish that need to be netted, simple.
  6. Check the sponsor thread for a possible supplier.
  7. Give Tegs tools a call in Hamilton, they sell CNC routers and may be able to hook you up with a good signmaker.
  8. It is not that difficult, a 50 year old man put the top log on this up by himself, with help from people holding the ends in place.
  9. Sometimes it is necessary to get up and go to prevent a collision. I think that is why it is not a standard setup.
  10. First thing to do is to call for locates. Digging into a cable can be very expensive, and possibly fatal. http://www.on1call.com/ Secondly, I would suggest that you use a 3" diameter pipe, into a 8" diameter hole at least 4' deep. And as Misfish says mushroom / \ the bottom of the hole to prevent lifting. If you decide to use the wood pole, it would be best if you can have a minimum of 4" of concrete around the pole. To lift, tuck the end of the pole in the hole, lift at one end with a couple of guys and let 'er drop in. Plumb, brace, and pour concrete. Good luck.
  11. Thank you but you probably had one that was cooked by Jason. The link is working for me now! Thanks.
  12. It's not working????
  13. Just a pair of grandfathers doing what they do best. The kids this year were GREAT! I have to give a shout out to Jason and his lady-love Ashley, I had a great day with the two of you. PS: Remind Ryan to NOT give me a squirt bottle next year :santa:  Check out Jason's band Crossley Hunter, they're easy to listen to.
  14. Check your fuel lines to see if they have broken down from the ethanol in gas.
  15. I hope they are long handles.....I can't do my artsy flips with out them....
  16. The BBQ team is covered, thanks Kelvin!
  17. I tried towing skiers behind my Ranger last year, it did not work very well, as I had too much power for them to come out of the hole properly. As well, the transom would go a bit too low for my liking. I was pulling from the tie down eyes.
  18. That is the reason I am boatless, my tow vehicle is booked elsewhere. I am coming in the Jetta.
  19. I just found out I am boatless, anyone got a seat?
  20. Well, I was there when they were filming at Eddie's. I was very impressed at the professionalism and genuine good nature of the personalities and staff that made up the film crew. Pete Bowman was especially good natured and quick witted, while Angelo I found to be very gracious and easy to talk to.
  21. I would venture to say the right guy for that job was busy playing Lincoln Logs.
  22. Is your truck the designated puller-outer again this year?
  23. WINNER!!!!! :clapping: A man from mount hope, once did restore a Bass boat, Limerick Lake was its' hope to fill the the live well so it would slope. :dunno:
  24. Funny, everyone says that the outdoors is a dying pastime, yet all these new stores are opening.... :dunno:
  25. Well done so far! I am also eager to see the final (ha!) result. Boat restoration is a lot of work, but amazingly satisfying when it is on the water.
