  1. decided to give the sled (and my back) a break from trail riding this weekend, loaded the gmc up and went a fishin, finally found some live weeds, set up on a 5-9 ft drop with lots a green weeds around noon today punched about 12 holes and set 2 windlass tip ups and two jigging rods, moved around a bit but managed around 50 perch today 35 keepers not bad for 3 hours of fishing, ice was at least 20 inches thick fish started biting at 12-18 inches off bottom and after a walleye or two made a guest apperance the fish were staying locked to the bottom
  2. and they sell boats tiller or console?
  3. you can rebuild the flowrite valves cost is about 20 bux for both valves rubber flappers, you can also buy the new valves for 30 bux each. i put the rule pumps in ss well, takes up a little more space in the bilge but they have replace main pump bodys so when they do burn out it's a quick change, they also have a extra port so you can attach a wash pump if desired, (my next project) good to quickly flush the cooling system on an engine when i suck up more lily pads and crap or cleaning livewells
  4. I'll be on sturgeon, for one day and hit a lake in the highlands for another
  5. i suggest you check out www.bassboatcentral.com for advice on upgrades on my ranger i replaced all the hoses, rebuilt the valves and installed 800 gph livewell pumps instead of the 500gph they came with
  6. stay in then and make it family planning day
  7. i have all those reels and they all have there own strengths, curado is the most forgiving for backlashes quantum and abu have faster spools and stronger (and heavier) frames as for the rod compre and mojo are both decent mid level rods no opinion on abu rod
  8. favorite? hard to pick but if iam pitching st.croix legend with a core mfgv pitchen reel or tube dragging wacky rig for smallies is a st croix avid ipc med action with a core 50 both super light which makes a difference all day in the boat
  9. batterys are designed to last 10 years or better in the hybrids, it's running them down and not charging them that shortens there service life, now what i remember most from my hybrid training is "don't screw with the orange wire" one of our shop vehicles was a 2007 lexus 400h, sorry can't really say anthing great about it it was well made and comfy but driving it felt weird, i suggest you drive one for a day, everytime i backed up i though for sure i was gonna hit something, confindence issue for sure but with a vehicle going in reverse with no engine running then kicking in is unerving to me just couldn't get used to it, but its sounds like a great deal go for it if you like it
  10. have cores chronarchs and curados, will take the core hands down over the curado better feel better drag better bearings lighter

  12. the smile say's it all, way to go great fish
  13. what i have done in the past is pull it over 2-3 times with the choke on and ignition off, then flip the switch and pull usually fires right up. sounds like you may have a stuck needle and seat though not enough fuel flow to get it going
  14. i believe that you should call the local atv club, from my understanding a atv is stradled with handlebars, thise utv's have a normal seat ans a steering wheel and as such do not fit the designation as a atv and can/are deemed illegal for trail use
  15. terrible news, my condolences

  18. sounds like the diff is pooched, those centrifugal limited slips do things like this when the clock spring goes inside
  19. getting to be more and more oil specs for even the same grade, in north america we have a new gf5 oil and for gm there is dexos certification, getting tougher to stock oil for everyone. seen that same sludge in many bmw's before as well even running euro spec oil, and german filters, have found out since if you want to run 20000km drain intervals requires a special oil filter (has what looks like a sock over it) to refine the oil even more.
  20. who really cares :blahblah1:
