  1. I have reserved thoughts about it breaking that while in reverse. More than idle while shifting maybe or something not put back together correctly if they did the rear seal earlier.
  2. I think my fear is that my left shoulder is not going to take any more recoil starting, that's why I went this route. Other than that, the weight factor it's a bunch lighter.
  3. Well, I can always stir some margaritas or paint..
  4. $549 for the 8" one. I figure if I have to buy a big drill, the chummy to hold the drill and auger together plus the auger part, it will be about the same or more than the Lithium Ion.
  5. Anyone looking for Lithium ion Augers, CTC has them on sale this week, pretty much sold out already, but they'll give you a rain check. They're $150 off. Besides, my shoulder and back don't like the recoil starting anymore and I sold my 1992 Jiffy 30 for more than what I bought it for brand new. $181 in West Baraboo Wisconsin.
  6. There I got up this morning expecting a new white blanket, what a letdown, I guess we now know who can go and apply for a job with Environment Canada.
  7. Sidewalks are on public property, I would go back, see the principal and then the school board to give her a dressing down.
  8. Ah snow squatches, just a cousin to Samsquatch.
  9. Confusedscious say, never rely on a map more than 5 years old, the brown stuff grows at exponential rates.
  10. Don't know which channel you're on, everything I've seen says less than 1 cm.
  11. Doesn't anyone ever do a recce to see if it's even remotely possible.
  12. So you want hand calculated mileage. 2004 Ram 5.9 6 spd stick 4x4, 157,761 km, 20496.87 liters, works out to 20.96 imp mpg. I suppose if I drove more highway, I'd easily break 22-23 mpg.
  13. My left eye is twitchin, my right foots shakin and never mind the rest..
  14. We know where you live Art...
  15. And that's about as good as it gets.
  16. Can't remember the model I got but it has silky smooth release and the drag is fine too. I'll add model when I get home. It's a #8 Cold Gear inline reel.
  17. I could put your tundra in my my box and still get over 20. Toyotas have to have the lousiest mileage of any pick up.
  18. Nothing wrong with the CVT drive, as long as you're not a complete #@&*+ driving around with the ATV underwater, there's no issues. Don't hesitate to use the low range for heavy jobs, it's made for that.
  19. That's pretty good, amazing what an 8 spd will do for mileage.
  20. Oh ya, pays to take care of your kit. Nice looking machine.
  21. Ah nice work! Had bacon wrapped grouse chunks last night at a birthday party, MMMMmmmmm.
  22. I've got a 550 Grizzly, little brother to the 700, only difference is engine size. They're reliable and work. Period. We had 2 450 Kodiaks at work that run the bush all summer and plowed our parking lot all winter. One over 7k and the other over 10k kms before they were unfortunately traded in because of government rules. Now we are stuck with CanAm junk.
  23. A couple of 2 ounce sinkers would make quick work of the windshield.
