  1. Poor birds out there are going to have a tough go of this.
  2. I'm sure all those short staffed types will be out there, lol
  3. I think a lot of the problems originate from a high percentage of people buying them without any common sense. It falls into the same category as super headlights that give off a nuclear glow at night blinding everyone oncoming. Or lets have blue signal lights, etc. Noisy mufflers, tires that stick out a foot beyond the fenders, and we can go on with other items. If they sell them in a store we can do whatever we want with them. Some want to use them for hunting and scouting, not cool. If someone was to use it at the lake during ice fishing simply to check for unseen pressure cracks, fine, but don't be buzzing around annoying people.
  4. No but I'm surprised at the lack of tree damage around our neighbourhood, might be some people still looking for their blue boxes and garbage cans though. Pretty funny watching them go smoking down the road.
  5. 20 years ago or so we used to catch them in Marina X, I haven't seen very many in the past years. It used to be an evening outing right around dark, they would bite like crazy.
  6. Bring along a couple of guys from Woodbridge.
  7. Agree Lew, judges are far too lenient when it comes to getting people to straighten out their lives. Owner issues apology, wth, owner should be issuing a pink slip to the employee(s) and then kicking himself in the azz for failing to check that the final outcome was right.
  8. If there's no cloud cover.
  9. Some are a sealed top that you can't open once they have been put into service.
  10. I think he had the camera plugged into 550AC.
  11. Hahaha, and at the end of the weekend all what you mentioned goes back home to Woodbridge.
  12. Vehicles and Trailers That Do Not Require Annual Inspections 1. Motor homes. A truck while carrying a slide-in camper is a motor home. 2. Camper trailers and house trailers. A livestock trailer with living accommodations is not a house trailer. 3. Mobile homes or office trailers wider than 2.6 m (8.6") or longer than 11 m (36 ft). 4. Devices such as tar pots, portable welders, cement mixers, compressors, farm implements such as farm wagons, etc.
  13. Here's the answer for towing: Motor homes, trucks, pickup trucks and truck campers are legally permitted to tow two trailers or a trailer and a motor vehicle behind a trailer. However, a three vehicle combination that is swaying excessively, is unstable or has reduced handling capabilities is subject to action by the police as an unsafe combination of vehicles under the Highway Traffic Act. The maximum length of any combination of vehicles is 23 m (75' 6")." If you are chanceux, you might get rainbow or chinook salmon downrigging in deep water north of Wasaga Beach or other closeby areas.
  14. Thanks Wayne, I guess I'll make the call and get what coverage is needed.
  15. Looking for a rough idea what people are paying for basic insurance for a 6 x 10 enclosed cargo trailer. Although I keep it locked an not quite visible to thieves, thefts are on the rise and insurance might be help if the worst did happen. Thanks.
  16. Wonder when the sequel is coming out, lol.
  17. That would make any pit bull wimper.
  18. Naw, someone let out the Pink Panther
  19. Was there yesterday to work OFATV booth, seems like a lot more ATVers coming on board, most seemed to think snowmobiling is dieing off at a rapid pace unless you go way north. Took a quick walk around to the larger hall, found a lot of outfitters this year. If I had to go for just a fun day, wednesday/thursday would be it, other vendors say by the weekend it's a bloody zoo.
  20. What he said, I have 2 pair of pants and a couple of long sleeve shirts with a wide brim hat, works very well. The nice thing you don't sweat in the either.
  21. I think I would have called the fuzz for a tow truck, impeding traffic.
  22. Ya, a number of years ago a box of those was found in the Pine river.
  23. One other thing you have to weigh, non vented heaters put a lot f moisture in the air as part of combustion that will condense on the ceiling walls, windows and drip, drip, drip. Ya, I know, crack a window, why the hell am I heating northern Ontario.
  24. Seriously, contrary to what has been said, I will never use an open flame non vented heater in an enclosed space, windows cracked open or not. Many people have died from them. I won't use one with an auto low oxygen sensor either, if it fails to shut down, you won't wake up either. If it's a '60s or 70's trailer it may well have a convection heater vented to the outside, no fan inside either. If it does, see if it still works and use it. I had one in a 78 trailer, it was superb. I can get 2 nights from a group 27 battery to run my furnace in the present trailer.
  25. Definitely worth it. A long time ago I ended up with sunburned eyes from not wearing sun glasses, felt like my eyes were full of sand. I don't ever want to go through that again.
