The ramp and parking lot and grassed areas are all pretty much bare, so I guess you could unload right at the ramp. There's no pressure cracks or heaved up areas by the ramp. Way further north you can see the pressure crack, probably around the 10th line
Tybo, I was just up at IBP this morning to check the access, all is well. First couple of feet there's a bit of water sandwiched between ice, after that it's solid.
Not that I could find, cars trucks and down to motorcycles, didn't mention ATV's or snowmobiles. But, I would make dam sure there's no lien against it, maybe a trip to get it checked by a mechanic if you're not sure and get registration upon sale.
Did an update happen or maybe it was me, whats with all the stuff along the right side in General Topics, can't figure out how to get rid of it. Recent and Popular topcis keep popping up.
Quite the machine, remember seeing the one on #11 eons ago, way up on the pole. Read somewhere there were a couple of mishaps with ATV's going for a plop in the cracks, both got rescued.
Big thing is to start with a good fully charged battery, make sure all connectors are clean and tight. Make sure the power/transducer cables are not corroded and fully inserted. There are currents in the water and sometimes your jig or whatever you use may not show because it's outside the zone.
And once the front wheels start digging into the snow or slush it will be like a shopping cart with wobbly wheels all over the place except where you want to go. I'd be putting a set of quick strap on skis there in place when you're on the lake. Hope you make it back by the end of the season. Maybe swap out the skinny tires for a wider set of ATV tires.
