  1. I'll have to try the apple juice idea, it's acidic so it'll make the meat softer. Many moons ago, I would do canada goose, plucked, parboiled it to get rid of most of the fat. Then into the roaster covered with orange juice that has lots of pulp. Tenderizes the meat and takes away some of the wild taste.
  2. You can never make enough, "gone" is a 4 letter word, lol
  3. Yup, I just stand them up around the inside of the p cooker, add about 3-4 cups of water and cook them for about 20-25 minutes depending on the amount. Take them out and let them lay flat and pat dry. Out to the BBQ and add whatever spices, rub and BBQ sauce makes you drool, Only needs about 10-12 minutes on a med hot grill to crisp them up a bit, meat side skyward.
  4. Haha, nope, never got the hang of it, but I may try again some time.
  5. Have to try that. I use the P tenderloin for shiskababs with onions and mini tomatoes or slice them into medallions fried with onions and a can of mushroom soup with potato's.
  6. I do the same for the ribs, saves a lot of time and gets rid of a lot of the fat.
  7. Quick run by Sobeys this morning, picked up pork tenderloins for less than half price. Can't beat that.
  8. Yes, it's nuts where the price of lumber has gone.
  9. The colour of those houses is just amazing.
  10. I just did my motor about 3 weeks ago, lower gear oil was honey clear with absolutely no streaks at all. If I had what you showed I would be changing seals.
  11. In the same proverbial boat, I need a new gas valve for my garage wall heater. Not a difficult job, maybe 15 minutes. Called one guy 3 times, ya ya, I'm coming, doesn't even answer the phone anymore. I think they are all scamming CERB and don't want to work.
  12. Yes, what Dan said and Garnet.
  13. Creamy white streaks is the beginning of water intrusion into the lower gearcase. Without seeing it up close, you may have done some unseen damage, or maybe caught some fishing line around the shaft in front of the prop. That will damage the rear seal rather quick.
  14. Nice, makes your day when you can see that.
  15. Mom and Baby are well and want out of the hospital ASAP! I don't blame her, probably the worst place to be. I swear every time I have to go, I come back with a cold or some other infection.
  16. Yup, when mother nature decides to spank us, she can get real mean.
  17. Kinda had to scratch my head, wondered where that came from, old post. Anyway, I've changed computers about 4 months ago and that email is long gone. I sent it in as a general inquiry on their contact form you can find in the link. https://www.ontario.ca/page/ministry-transportation I sent them a general query and added a link for them to the snow dog, I suppose any of them will do. https://www.powerhouse.cc/snowdog-product
  18. I'm dancing as fast as I can, +15 Friday, yahoo.
  19. I could have taken videos but I don't want to be one of those talking heads from the Weather Network..Twitall and Knobinson..nothing more than media excitement.
  20. Well I know I'd try it out on those who are flouting it and then sit back and watch. Who's bringing the popcorn.
  21. Did a bit of digging and found that it indeed has a 20 inch transom, http://www.boats.za.net/boat-specs.aspx?boat=Stanley-Boats-Tiller-16-ft.-W-2012&bt=34809
  22. Pretty sure they have a splashwell back there.
  23. If I had to do it all over again, I'd seriously look at a Stanley 16 tiller wide model.
  24. From a couple dealerships and I know the people don't imbibe on alcohol or other hallucinogens.
  25. Whoa, I think I'd pass on that and sleep in.
