  1. Does this apply province wide or just to those served by Alectra? I would go with tiered first 1000 kw/h, we rarely go above 350kw/h per month.
  2. Good for resale value down the road.
  3. Been doing it for a long time, just remember to wear boots and push the boat out a bit when climbing in or out. Pick your spot away from pointy rocks
  4. Ya, welcome to the world of cranky back syndrome. L 2,3 and 4 are pooched. I had some of the nerves lightly burned high freq probes and go for cortizone shots every 2 months. I've been in agony since turkey day, bent and twisted to pick up a pair of boots, the "shock" was so back I almost puked up breakfast. Back to the chiro 2 times a week and sparingly taking pain killers. Good luck at your end.
  5. Well natures carwash is definitely working. Sheets of rain, thunder and lightning like crazy, some pretty stiff winds too.
  6. As others have said, depends on your type of fishing and size of boat. Anything 16' and under I would stick to a tiller, the console robs too much space. Over that 17-18 it could go either way. I've got a 16' Princecraft Starfish for 24 years, jig, casted and go downrigging on GBay and have never wished I had a console.
  7. Yes, those blasted bail springs, RRRrrrrrrr.
  8. Still have dads 300 on the shelf, and yes they are indestructible with normal use
  9. Well got out for an ATV ride this morning, tried the 1440/60fps and it is fine now, no more choppy interrupted sections.
  10. So it looks like a "QC" prefix on the licence.
  11. What Terry said except I have one size larger for the truck. If I go boating or ATVing it comes along. I charge it about every 3-4 months which only takes a few minutes.
  12. Best I can make out is O? 1559C5. I suspect the second letter is an "N" which should mean it's from Ontario. Then again, I'm not sure how foreign boats' are numbered. Checked with the on line CPIC but it doesn't come up with anything. Then again I put my boat numbers in and doesn't show anything either
  13. I'll try that too, hopefully the jerkyness of the video will smooth out.
  14. There's more retards born every day, if they're not racing on the streets they're being idiots elsewhere. Just like that debacle at Wasaga Beach last weekend.
  15. It's set at 1440 with standard stabilization, 120 frames per per second, I'm going to try it at 60 frames per second next time I go out.
  16. I bought the 7 Black and it works, well, ok but I wouldn't give it any more than that. Video's are a bit "choppy" even on low resolution. You would almost be better off using a dash cam.
  17. I really don't think brake fluid is "rotated" through the system. The brake fluid reservoir is just that, no in and out line. All you would have is a reasonably clean reservoir and old fluid past that.
  18. Less time at the donut shop, more time paying attention at the daily briefings. I'm quite sure every PO is on their forces email system and a short email would be a fast remedy to their inattention.
  19. I know my VW recommends it at 60K, even my ATV recommends it.
  20. It's a recommended thing, preventive maintenance. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and can cause the internal workings for master cylinders, calipers, etc to become rusty inside. Usually done on a 2 year cycle or mileage, depends on your vehicle. The fluid is usually clear but turns yellow to brown after going bad.
  21. I saw another similar one, may have been her too. These bloody fish farms are a complete disaster to nature. The amount of fecal matter dropped on the ocean floor is just overwhelming for nature to dispose of. The salmon are laced with atibiotics and food colour to make the meat "more appetizing" I haven't bought store bought salmon or rainbow for years after seeing that. I go to Johnys Fish market on ocassion to get to some fresh cod or haddock from the east coast, actual wild fish.
