  1. http://www.rainbowcamp.com/about-rainbow-camp.html It appears that they rent 14&16 foot boats, their store may have a map of the area? Didn't use walking sinkers often, when I did I slid them on the line, tied a swivel on the end and added a 18inch - 3foot piece of line for a leader and a hook - worm harness. 1/8th ounce jigs are fine for water less than 15 feet or so, deeper than that 1/4 might be better.
  2. That doesn't look good! Severe thunderstorm warning out here right now.
  3. Tube jigheads are never painted, since they slide inside the tube there is no reason for them to be. 1/8th to 3/8ths should be fine for where you are going, I have only used them heavier on the open waters of Lake Erie on windy days. I probably wouldn't bother with 1/16th ounce jigheads, unless you are getting them from a specialist source the hooks in them will most likely be too small,1/8th to 3/8ths should be good, and for most fishing black or white works fine.
  4. Fought just like a walleye? LOL
  5. Dang Brian! Glad you survived! I might talk to a lawyer? Sometimes after effects from a bad accident don't show up for years.

  8. " Under the plea deal, Saiff will be ordered to pay a $5,000 fine. He will also be prohibited from any hunting or guiding activities (other than fishing) until January 1, 2019. Saiff also agreed to make charitable donations totaling $10,000 to non-profit wildlife organizations of his choice. He could have faced a maximum prison sentence of up to one year and a fine of up to $100,000 per count. " Not much of a spanking? Another sportsman for fun and profit?
  9. The area seems pretty remote? Are you flying in? staying at a camp? perhaps they can provide some info?

  11. Shore fishing in Miami.
  12. If you are new to fishing? Some training videos, youtube can be really helpful to a new angler. Texas rigging a soft plastic lure, it works on worms, lizards, tubes, and others. They make rubber pegs to keep the weight from sliding or a round toothpick can be used. Adjust the weight and hook size to the size of the lure and water depth. Carolina rigs Jig and worm, better in areas with less weeds and junk, the hook is exposed and hookup percentages are better. Jig and craw. Tube with a tube jig insert.
  13. The world needs net men too?

  15. The little fish appears to be one of the many types of minnows, if you continue fishing work on your fish identification and laws, there are various size limits and species limits.
  16. Many years ago a guy my dad worked with and called a friend got caught with 27 northern pike between him and his fishing partner, their limit was 12. It was in the Pointe Au Baril area, just another caught poacher to me.
