  1. Work, work, dream of fishing, work, and pick something up for the misses (mother's day gift).
  2. That's Great news Dave. As with many others mentioning above, I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery!
  3. Nice post Dave. Good looking fly Ken. I was thinking about tying one of those too lately, but was questioning myself on what would take it. Now I know, thanks. Time to tie some up for the weekend as it looks like it will be a quieter day at the office. Stan
  4. That's just not right! First thing that comes to mind is that it was a poacher, likely before the opener and was starting to fillet the fish when something spooked them and they left the fish to rot. As Victor mentioned: Bad Karma to those that did that!
  5. Hey Cliff, It doesn't appear that I'll be able to make it as the Misses had already made plans for the family. Unless it changes, I'll have to meet up some other time. Stan
  6. Roger, I have to send you the bill for a new keyboard. That one was just too funny. LOL
  7. The kids in the pictures added a "wow" factor for me. Thanks for posting those pics and info. Stan
  8. Another good outing and report Cliff and Carole. I think I like the other side of the fish though,
  9. Welcome to the board Berns1019. Sorry, I don't fish the LNR, but somebody here will steer you in the right direction.
  10. WTG Cliff, looks like a successful family fishing day for sure. Nice work on the different modes on the camera as well. Stan
  11. Great report MJL!! Congrats on the christening of your Molting D. It looks like a beauty of a rod and your hard work looks like it paid off. Too bad about having to put off future rod making. But that may make your Molting D. a collector's item one day Look forward to your future reports.
  12. Just as DouG mentioned, if we could just get a few more officers who loves fishing to step up as well we could make a bigger impact and/or get it in the news to shame some of these poachers to thinking twice about it.
  13. WTG on your first turkey of the season.
  14. Great to see things are back to somewhat normal Dawg. Those kitties were definitely nicely colored. Duck wasn't hard to find but it took me a couple of looks before I saw the rabbit in the brush on the left side. At least you got to fish! Here I am behind the keyboard at work and hoping to get out sunday morning.
  15. Good job Bill, hey if you have left over feathers could you hold some them for me for the purpose of fly tying? Mmmm, turkey...
  16. That's cool, but I looks like it would be a bit of a pain to take out of the water at the end of the season.
  17. Thanks Dano for the info. Done.
  18. My thoughts and best wishes to your family, as many before said keep up the hope and spend quality time with the family.
  19. Big Cliff, I'll see if I can make it, gotta ask the wife to see if we have any other plans first.
  20. Wow, definitely a nice fish!
  21. Pics Man, PICS!
  22. I think some Chinese Entrepreneur (in China last year's news) has already beat them to it with the modified cardboard boxes that tastes like meat. Eww and Yuk just don't describe it. But if P3TA wants to consider it good for them, it would help with the recycling of cardboard boxes and uses. So some of them would consider road kill to be okay it seems. The first steps of bringing back some sensibility to some.
  23. Anything that's willing to co-operate on the bite as I'm usually limited to how often and how long I can fish.
  24. Happy Birthday, hope you have a great day!
  25. Nice report and good to hear the day was a good one for both of you.
