  1. Not having any problems here Scott. Computer virus may be a possibility.
  2. Congrats Dan! Wish you and your wife a hopefully soon restful night!
  3. I actually don't mind the rain at all, it's the lighting that will send me packing. No point in standing near water with a fishing rod that says "lighting rod" LOL!!
  4. Awesome Dave, I'll have to mark off that sunday and head over there to pick up a couple. Stan
  5. The article mentions the restaurant, "Nathaniels" Also mentioned that the restaurant hires bald guys and blames the waitress for not informing the restaurant of her planned charity participation.
  6. Truly another great report! Maybe if we all pitched in we could make it an OFC clubhouse?!
  7. Now Cliff, that's how you do it huh? I guess that great singing voice helps you because it sure doesn't work with my useless broken vinyl record voice of mine. Yeah, you know the kind of voice that sends people packing at the end of the night when there's Karaoke or like when my wife and kids tell me to be quite while trying to hum a tune in the car, LOL. I guess I'll just have to record that anthem (and a great one at that) and then play it thru the braided line with a MP3 player. Now to put the secret weapon to the test!
  8. I didn't see this posted anywhere and I apologize if someone has already done it. I was reading up on the news and saw this posted: Waitress loses job after shaving head for Cancer charity event. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2008/06/05/...ad.html?ref=rss Pretty sure I would stop going to this restaurant after that kind of tactic. I believe it said Owen Sound. Definitely going to receive some bad karma to the restaurant manager/owner after that.
  9. You and those who serve our country have always had the highest respect from me. Good luck and be safe! I hope to see some posts after its done.
  10. Great post and pics!
  11. Always an incredible read with beautiful pics too. Your skill at story telling is great as like many others have said, it had the effect of bringing back memories of similar moments in one's life to bring your description even closer to visualization.
  12. Glen, those look great and I'm sure you'll have some paint bitten off them soon!
  13. On most of my set ups, braid line as the main line then a fluorocarbon leader. I have one spinning reel spooled with 4 lb fluoro on my river rod that helped with landing a 22 lb chinny. Over all, it does really depend on what your target species is and the conditions you think you will be encountering. Conditions such as water clarity, abrasive structure, temperature, etc. In my limited fishing experience, fluoro tends to be more brittle when it gets cold. Mono does well, braid is good but builds up water to ice the guides more.
  14. WTG Mike, fantastic read as usual. Great looking area up there.
  15. When I purchased one last year the handle was okay but when the bucket tipped (with the lid securely tighten) the liquid found a way to leak out after the package was initially opened. Contacted Berkley to complain but got the run around and still have 3/4 of a bucket full of gulp alive minnows half dried out , do yourself a favor and pick up any water tight container to transfer everything to it.
  16. Hands down, in the mouth or it goes back. As for lures, I've caught the whities in the mouth hard anchored to the top of the mouth's bony section with meegs or bad boyz.
  17. Depends on the material it is made of. PVC or Neoprene?
  18. Congrats on the PB!
  19. Mike, that sure sounded like the start to a fantastic season up there for you. I look forward to reading your posts again.
  20. Great work coming along Boss-man! Definitely another jealous member here. So when are you planning the OFC G2G there? Good fishing!
  21. Roy get out there and catch a few and remember to bring the cam and OFC tourney banner!
  22. Happy Birthday Joey!!
  23. Being of Asian decent but not from that particular region, I feel for all of those affected. Not only for the Chinese but for all other groups of people who may have loved one in the region. My thoughts are out to those families affected.
  24. Good on you Steve for your concerns on the flag! It was a true disgrace to have it up like that. Even better to hear you got to the right people to have it reviewed. I'm glad to see another fellow Canadian with such passion for our Nation's symbols and historical items.
  25. Happy B-day Art, now get out there, cast a line and post a report! Have fun on your b-day!
