  1. Yessiree Chris, your definetely a master of your craft. Very nice work indeed !!
  2. Looks like a coating of ice on everything around here too Shaun, but the weather doods are calling for 6C today with rain and then warm again tomorrow. If this is the worst weather we see this winter, I'm happy with that

    BRUTAL

And another one last night in Vegas too Brian, and a couple days back some guy shot 2 more people in a mall cafeteria. It's becoming a common occurance south of the border lately.
  4. Fella here in town has a bumper sticker on the back of his pickup that says ++++++++++"yes it's my pickup...and no, you can't borrow it"+++++++++ And speaking of GM pickups, my dad bought a new one in 1961 and payed $1800 Now we nearly pay that for tires
  5. Yup
  6. Just shows how much he likes GM's Greg, he's always had them and likes to always have new ones. And Drew, it doesn't sound like that old girl owes you too much.
  7. Outstanding picture Twocota !! I was out on the back deck around 4:00 but I guess I was too late and didn't see any.
  8. Yup, just bought another new F150 in October and it's an excellent truck and I'm very happy with it. I just found that link to the 2014 Chevy's and know there's lotsa guys on this board who like them so thought I'd put it up for them. My BnL buys a new 2500 GM pick-up every 2 years and swears by them.
  9. If your thinking of buying a new GM pickup, here's an advanced look at the 2014 model. http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go&key=d07f38b22ba9683897d6fe7173d761a4&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.f150forum.com%2Ff2%2Fugh-2014-silverado-184904%2F&v=1&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.f150forum.com%2Ff2%2F&libid=1355436227888&out=http%3A%2F%2Fblogs.automotive.com%2F2014-chevrolet-silverado-gmc-sierra-make-official-world-debut-121769.html%23axzz2Ey7U2p5R&title=Ugh%2C%202014%20Silverado%20-%20Ford%20F150%20Forum%20-%20Community%20of%20Ford%20Truck%20Fans&txt=http%3A%2F%2Fblogs.automotive.com%2F2014-che...%23axzz2Ey7U2p5R&jsonp=vglnk_jsonp_13554362904136
  10. I always enjoyed your winter fishing tales Eric and it's a shame you can't get out there anymore, but you've sure got alot of good time memories. I remember one big chunky pike you got out there a few years back but you didn't put the picture up this time.
  11. I haven't read the book, but the reason Musky Hunter is the ONLY fishing show I watch is because it's not a SPAM fest like all the rest of them. His TV show is excellent so I'd assume his book will be great also.
  12. Sounds like you guys could use this
  13. HAHAHAHA
  14. That's great Joe, always nice to see the critters around.
  15. I've got a KeelGuard on my boat and it's excellent. I put my boat right on top of a truck sized rock on Nippissing last summer and not only did it protect my boat, there's not even a scuff on the guard. I'd definetely recommend it to anyone with a glass boat that fishes in rocky areas.
  16. You drove right past my place and the coffee pot's always on.
  17. How does an interesting post about winter tires turn into American politics ??
  18. As long as it's still gonna be legal to catch & release those big ole Nippissing muskies, I'm good !!
  19. Your right Ernie, but sadly too many folks will never aquire common sense and will continue to kill innocent folks on winter roads. And I don't care what anybody says, winter tires in good condition are FAR better in snow than non-winter tires...no matter how good you think you are behind the wheel.
  20. My concern would be making the rig unstable if you go narrower than what the manufacturer has set up. The closer the wheels are together, the more top heavy it'll become.
  21. No we haven't, at least not me Well done boyz, a couple very nice fish you got there !!
  22. I'd definetely say yes, get yourself a boat of your own. It's always better to have your own stuff rather than depending on somebody else to supply it for you.
  23. I'd hit those good spots Mike and start big & slow and see what happens. You don't always need real big in cold water but it's a good starting point. Change things up and see what pattern you come up with. And if I hadn't left my Christmas shopping so darned late I'd come join you
  24. Same stuff over this way Shaun, some light snow last evening and now it's been raining & freezing for a couple hours and everything has a coat of ice on it. My daughter came up for the weekend and has to leave for Missisauga in 90 minutes, so I sure hope the salt trucks are out doing their thing.
  25. Two years ago we were having a group of friends over for an evening and 8" of snow fell that day. I'm a mile and a half down at the end of a dirt road and my bud was driving a 4x4 Jeep with winter tires and he couldn't make it thru the snow and I had to go out and get him. A lady friend of ours had all seasons on and made it thru the snow with just a little trouble. It's good to be properly equipped for winter driving, but you also have to know how to drive.
