  1. The trailer would be fine...the transom saver might not be though.
  2. I'd like to take you up on that Mike but I can't commit yet because of a family thing. So, if it's still available Thursday morning and things are good here I'll get in touch for arrangements. Thanks.
  3. Great stuff...may they in many more!
  4. Lew knows his stuff and the beauty of it is that he's always there to help. In the past several years Lew has recommended things to me such as an ABU reel that I still use, the 6600C5 MAG X that I still use for pike and light muskie baits...great reel. Do you remember that one Lew? I needed an on board charger and he suggested I get the Guest charger.....installed it many years ago and has worked flawlessly. I wanted a bowmount TM and he steered me toward a MinnKota Edge (no bells and whistles) 24V 70lbs. This is the old model...much better than the new model. It's great! So many other things as well. Not wanting to derail this thread but thank you Lew for your recommendations over the past many years...they've never failed me.
  5. I wonder if that's the same fish that Spiel posted in "Fishing News" March 29, 2010.

    Kool find

Great stories! Wayne......kinda weird that the slogan was "Fresh from Canada's sun parlor" and they used the American spelling for "parlour"
  7. Better not let Joey hear you say that. A comma would have saved your skin.
  8. You could also try Rob Hyatt Lake Nipissing Ice Bungalows 374 Lighthouse Road | Callander, Ontario | P0H 1H0 Phone: 705.752.1727 | Fax: 705.752.5422 We've used his services a few times in the past and have no problem recommending him. 9. I have a Jimmy....I think your problem might have to do with the ignition switch.
  10. Firefox takes me to Google by default.
  11. Thunderstruck here Mike. Apex predator indeed.
  12. Good stuff, Rob. Congrats to the man.
  13. Same half dozen dudes posting to this thread. You guys must be starving.
  14. Very, very nice Jacques. Impressive fish for sure! Thanks for sharing.
  15. When you must specify "try and be civil" at the start of a thread, it probably means that the thread shouldn't be here.
  16. Excellent report Chris et al. Sounds like a beautiful place and yes, shore fishing these places is a great experience. Thanks for sharing.
  17. A painted SS prop is less likely to be stolen. I imagine that stripping the paint and polishing a SS prop would be more expensive and time consuming than buying a polished SS prop.
  18. Very nice, guys. Take a bow. Thanks for sharing you day with us.
  19. Gooder things happening folks.....
  20. Don't scare me like that. He's supposed to be playing a tune or two at my funeral.
  21. A really beautiful fish, Pete. Congrats to you.
  22. I can't help you with those lakes but welcome aboard.
  23. Why can't you use the tow vehicle? Is it a public ramp or a private one?
  24. Another great report, Joey. Just SO sorry we couldn't make it up there but you know the reason. Hopefully we can get together soon. Man, I missed seeing all you guys up there. Everyone seems to be in good health...that's great! Thanks again for the super report.
